I've used the Tasla a few times now, bought in Nov 2020. Weight of 820g is easy to handle, clean up is very easy. So far, no stains or discoloration, I have been using on low to medium flame only.Dimensions: Inner diameter 22cm, height 7.5cm. Technically it can hold 2200ml without spilling over, but I would say, it can handle 1.5l comfortably, with a little space left over. That's enough for my usual quantity or rasam, sambhar or liquid gravies. Dry vegetables 1/2kg easily, maybe more.Totally like this Bhalaria Tasla and would recommend it. Next day delivery to Chennai with prime.Also bought a 24cm Kadai of the same make. The blue sticker stuck in the middle of the Tasla comes out easily, leaving no marks behind.Note: First use- after washing the first time, I heated a small bit of oil and rubbed it all over the insides, let it smoke, allowed it to cool and washed. Found black residue when I wiped with a tissue. This happened 2-3 times, but after repeated washing, there’s no more black residue on the tissue. This is not a mistake, happens with new steel due to manufacturing process. I had to google for the solution though. I also rubbed half a lemon with salt and little warm water all over the insides with the Tasla on low flame. Then washed with liquid soap. Now it’s all good. The Manufacturer should leave a small printed note with instructions. It’s just makes good sense, they know about their product, we first time users don’t!
