He's evil, he's an assassin--what's not to love?
Another great entry to a new but already amazing "adult collector" toy line. Zarak is a half-orc assassin, one of the "evil" characters from this series based on the 1983 Dungeons & Dragons cartoon and a number of illustrated books and coloring books of that time. The quality is top notch, imo. This figure is well sculpted, fairly well articulated, and greatly detailed. The figures, as far as I can tell after opening and displaying, are all solidly built. They all come with various weapons and extra hands. Zarak even includes two heads--one with a hood and one without. Zarak is a bit heavy for his small size and maintains a pose very well. Doesn't fall over easily. The packaging on this series is also five-star. Part of me would keep all of them in their stunning boxes--the gate-fold covers open to make a nice display. But I'm an opener, so mine will all be displayed loose. I'm keeping the boxes, tho, in case I need to put them away or just display the boxes.Zarak, like the others, are highly recommended for D&D fans, the cartoon series fans, and fantasy lovers in general. The price point is about average for this scale and quality. Newer lines are being priced above $50 each, so this line is a bit of a bargain at around $37.

Knocked it out of the park with this one
NECA’s reimagining of the LJN D&D has been top notch. I was only going to get warduke considering he was one of my favorite figures growing up. but after seeing how perfectly he was done, being okay with the price point (fingers crossed it stays that way), and the reasonable pace they’re coming out, I resolved to get them all. Glad I did. Zarak is probably the nicest, perfectly creepy figure in my collection.

Blast from the Past
I’ve purchased 3 of these rereleased characters. Started with the Warduke (had the 8 inch original, purchased back in the 80’s. Now with these beautifully packaged figures, brings me back. My nephew is really into them, so have purchased for the next generation to enjoy. If your a collector, these are amazing unopened. Opened, their fun, custom change accessories, and the detail is gorgeous!

Showing Hasbro how it's done.
NECA is killing it with their Dungeons and Dragons range. This is one creepy looking assassin, with knives and poison aplenty.
