Never fails to enlighten, Mr. Davis is my favorite author. I read a little, then chew on it awhile. The depth of the reader determines the resonance of the message. Although Mr Davis was ordained the year I was born 65 years ago, he always speaks directly to my own issues like an old intimate Friend. He certainly understands that human condition well!

Sometimes spirituality can become far too intellectualised. This book is a breath of fresh air, offering some profound insights, unfettered by the barnacles of unnecessary intellectualisation. This is not to dismiss intellectual enquiry; however, a healthy balance between solid academic theory and lived spiritual experience is an important one. I think this book achieves this balance to some extent.

Good informative material for the personality developing an interest as well as a great review for person wanting a refresher of information. Highly recommend this for all interested in furthering your spiritual walk. A good read.

Roy Eugene Davis has much wisdom to impart...and his Q&A chapters were particularly direct and full of sound guidance.His experience of meditative states informs his reader and encourages growth in this area.Having said that, I found the beginning of this short book slightly hard to 'get into'....Being dense with information and esoteric wisdom.Overall the book calls the reader to develop their own personal spiritual path in their own way.Perhaps it has more appeal to those who would strive to grow spiritually whilst perceiving their journey to be rational and logical.
