Very nice.
My 3 year old great grandson is autistic. He loves this pillow but prefers to stand on it rather than sit. I do think it helps calm him on bad days. Very nice product.

Seems to stimulate vocalizing and calming
My daughter took to it immediately. Seemed to stimulate vocal sounds not typical for my non verbal daughter

Useful
This FocusPad Seat has been a surprising win for my child. They fidget constantly, and this cushion seems to give them an outlet for that energy.

Centralized sensory vibrations
The vibration sensor works efficiently and has strong pulsations, however, because it is significantly smaller than the entire pad, the sensations are kind of "centralized." As in, the vibrations don't fully radiate throughout the entire pad. For me personally, it seemed better suited to be used for foot therapy as opposed to seat therapy. Also, the manual indicated that AA batteries are not included, but upon opening the back of the sensor, I discovered there were already AA batteries installed?? This gave me probable cause to believe that the product had been previously used without having passed any sort of inspection. Obviously, leaving used batteries in any kind of operating device is not a safe practice, but fortunately, I did not see any signs of corrosion or battery leakage. This did sour my ability to thoroughly enjoy and experience the product, though. The seat cover itself was soft and comfortable. I included a picture with purple arrow indicating where the battery cover is removed and green arrow is the on/off switch.

Very effective and easy to use
I got this to help a visiting relative and I was so amazed at how easy to use and effective it was. It was very calming and really assisted on keeping focused and on on task. I highly recommend this for any of your special needs relatives family members or, friends. There was nothing to set up just opened up the box and turned it on. It is actuated when sat on nothing could be easier. After a month or 2 of use I can honestly say that I am not sure what they did before we got this. This is such a great investment and a good buy.

Great, but small and very tall in the seat - almost like a booster seat
The vibrating cushion is very high quality and works well. My son really likes it except he says it is too tall and makes him sit too high in his chair. It's made of a very dense foam, and barely squishes down under even an adult's weight. This is a pro and a con because it is very sturdy and will last a long time, but it raises the seat quite a big so you need to take that into account and find a way to accommodate for a seat level raised about 3".The cushion is also smaller than most chair seats, so you are high up, and also kind of precariously perched... this does make it work like a wiggle seat which my son likes, but I am not sure that was it's intended design. All in all, so far we don't use this as much as I had hoped, but it's possible with a better-suited chair than my regular dining table-sized chair it may work much better and be more effectively usable.

FocusPad Seat - Vibrating Cushion for Sensory Kids
Great for sensory input, helps children stay focused and more relaxed when having to do a seated activity. The seat comes ready to use, batteries are included and you just need to turn the ON switch. Can be used to stand on it as well but it requires the child to stand on the right spot. Highly recommend!
