Jalal: A Story of the Iranian Revolution

I was looking for a book that might give some insight into the events around the Revolution. After reading the blurb on the Kindle I was hopeful, plus it was only $0.99 so I bought it without even trying a sample. Well, that was a mistake.Firstly, I was disappointed to find that this book is entirely fiction. I was further disappointed to read this fiction and find it was poorly written. Pretty much zero character development and the storyline jumps around and does not match the outline description that I read on my Kindle. The quality of the writing is also a disappointment as it is rather simplistic description of events without any nuance, depth or engaging prose. To me this book fails across the board.
