This blood was viscous, right color and easy to use. The squirt bottle really helps to avoid mess while doing Halloween makeup. Plus its small enough that you can carry it in your purse or something and redo your scary makeup before a stage show or picture. The only negative feedback I would have is that it dries a little lighter than normal blood color, but that is not a big problem if you refresh it before pictures or videos.

I was a dead baker for Halloween this year, I bought an apron and this blood with the intention of making the apron look like I'd cleaned up or committed a murder with it. It came out BEAUTIFULLY. It was absolutely perfect! Washed off my hands by the end of the day, dried in an hour on the canvas apron, no bleeding through to my shirt, deep red color that perfectly depicted blood. This was the best choice for the job.

This particular kind was said to keep gel and wet, but it definitely dries after about 30 mins and it tends to dry into clumps! Beware of that because once it dries it is bit painful to remove! And on top of that it stains skin for a couple of days! Would not buy again for the price. I don't mind paying for quality but this wasn't it!

Bought for my 10 year old who is interested in FX makeup. She loves this kit and so far has been able to create some interesting scars. Would recommend for anyone looking to get started and try FX.

i like the deep red color, it is more believable but it is really thick and sticky like corn syrup, it is hard to use

I am by no means a makeup artist. So I would have loved to have an insert with this kit to tell me how each product can be used and in what ways to get the desired effects. Just playing around with everything, I did have fun though. I was able to make pretty believable looking bruises with the color wheel. The blood was a little harder for me to figure out. I tried the coagulated blood on my face and got a pretty good drip effect. The issue was that I only wore it for about 15 minutes and somehow within that time it stained my skin. I scrubbed and washed my face and used makeup remover, but it only lightened the marks. Thankfully the next day it wasn't too noticeable and completely gone the next morning. It does get messy, so be prepared. I tried combining the scar wax with stage blood and kind of got a wound effect. My inability to know how to use the products didn't take away from their quality, but it would have been so much nicer to get some direction.

This stuff was so realistic that I literally yelled when my daughter walked out of her room because it looked so realistic lol easily came off with makeup remover and out of our carpet lol
