nice for storage safety
Well made and reasonably priced. If you put on and take off tanks from small appliances these are a great safety feature. They come with an installed gasket in the cap.

Had no idea those little tanks leaked
Bought these after testing our camp stove/grill and noticed propane leaking when I removed the tank. I had stored 11 of the small 16.4 oz tanks with just the original plastic caps, but they wouldn't keep a tank from leaking after installing and removing, the valves don't always seat. Worked good, cheap insurance and helps prevent wasting fuel.

Fits perfectly to flame king 1 lbs canisters
I got the flame king 1 lbs canisters. They came with an awkward plastic capIt would frequently pop off as it did not screw on securely enough. Cheap plastic tops basically.I found these caps and they fit perfectly. Good rubber seal on the inside to avoid any propane leaks.Fits nice and snug and will not pop off.

Great Caps
If you camp and use the 1 pound propane bottles, these are great protection. You REALLY need these if you refill the bottles. Keeps all the junk out.

Very well made and heavy. I use these to keep my camp propane tanks from leaking. They work exactly for what they were designed.

Overall good product
The brass is high quality and it is machined well. However the rubber seals fall out or stick to the propane bottles.

Everybody needs brass caps
These are the best things I can't tell you how many times I have left the beach or camping with the lantern or stove still hooked up to a 1lb bottle because the bottle leaks. Now when I take bottles anywhere, I take the plastic caps off and put the brass caps on. If the bottle leaks when disconnected, the brass caps seal it up for the drive home. No fear of a explosion in the trunk. Great price and very speedy delivery. These used to cost $10 ea when you could find them.

Great addition to another tool
I wanted much better protection for the brass heads/threads on my 'new' refillable propane bottles, replacing cheap/fragile plastic OEM units. These solid brass caps fit the ticket perfectly. The thick rubber gaskets also will help protect if there is ever a potential leak.
