I was skeptical about ordering a live plant from Amazon. The gardenia arrived well packaged and healthy. As of now it has several blooms and many buds ready to pop! As our winters can be harsh, this gardenia will spend the winter under a grow light in the house.

No worries packaging
I ordered 2 of these and they arrived by UPS and unbelievably they were in great condition. They’re in pots covered by plastic bag and secured with cardboard reinforcement. I immediately watered them and put them in my garage to acclimatize to the temperature. After potting them a couple of days later I gave them another good watering and put them out. I had a lot of leaf yellowing that I attributed to too much rainwater. IDK. I moved them back into shade, gave them Miracid and so far so good. They seem healthy and happy. I’m disappointed with the fragrance. They aren’t very fragrant.

Great plant!
I had no idea you could order live plants through Amazon. I ordered this as an experiment. It arrived healthy and full of buds. Planted well, and is doing great, with no pests having come along for the ride. 11/7, will be buying more!

Very disappointed
I never leave reviews but I am so disappointed with these plants. I live in NY so I buy gardenias every summer just to enjoy for 2-3 months because I love their sweet smell but know NY weather does not support their longevity. I usually buy them from a different seller and get nice blooms on them. These plants arrived with no buds and are already turning yellow. They look like someone cut them from a bush and threw them in a pot as opposed to individual plants which would be fine if they bloomed! I bought 2 and will unfortunately miss out on their blooms and sweet smell this year. I won’t buy from this seller again and feel like I wasted my money - and they weren’t inexpensive.

Absolutely stunning, arrived in perfect condition- these are thriving in my garden more than all my other plants no matter what amount of light and water they receive- they must have really well established roots- order all your plants from these people
