The difference to the inside of our dishwasher after using this cleaner was surprisingly clear. We had to get a new dishwasher not that long ago so I didn’t think this cleaner would make as big a difference as it did. As well as smelling a lot fresher (albeit only until the next time you run a load through it), the inside panels definitely seemed brighter and shinier as a result of using this.Using it is very simple, with clear instructions, and the bottle is easy to pour, so that’s nice and neat. You do have to use it and run the dishwasher with an empty load, so there’s the electricity cost and also the timings to take into account, as we tend to find that as soon as our dishwasher has finished cleaning, there’s already a new pile of stuff to go in. We also run our dishwasher overnight sometimes to save on electricity costs, so we ended up with a backlog of dishes needed washing in order to run this cleaning process.Ideally, there would be a way of cleaning dishwashers this successfully while using less plastic, though it is recyclable so it’s not quite so bad.Each bottle represents a single wash, so fourteen quid for a four-pack works out at three quid fifty per clean, which doesn’t seem cheap compared to dishwasher tablets. But if you only use them maybe once a month, as a special treat refresh for your dishwasher, then to me they seem worth it.
