Does the job makes opening and closing of doors and windows and lubricates door locks and squeaks.

I use it everywhere that plastic and metal bits rub against each other. Great for curtain rails and roller blind mechanisms,- makes them really smooth and quiet. Stops squeaks on the car dash/door plastics really well. Should last a long time.

This is identical to spray sold by Ford for ‘curing’ squeaks from door seals and plastic trims and at about half the price. It works a treat in my Ford Kuga.

I got it for the car's automatic sunroof that was starting to stick... worked fine. Good for switches in the car that were getting sticky. I also used it for the bird feeder pole to stop the squirrel from climbing up and pinching the bird food. That was entertaining as he couldn't work out why he failed to climb the pole that was fine a few days ago

On the inside of the exterior doors of my caravan is the message, "Periodically treat with silicone spray" so I purchased this Holts Silicone Spray for this purpose and this is my review.Rather than spraying directly onto the seal I spray onto a folded piece of kitchen paper and then immediately wipe the seal with this. I think this is the superior way to lubricate these seals as I have read that the propellant that is in the canister is not so good for the seal. Using the kitchen towel method you can more accurately apply the silicone to the seal and not to the back of the door whilst wiping any dirt/grime off from the seal at the same time.The seals look clean and feel soft and good for another while(probably a year) until I re-treat them. I am happy that this product is doing the job that is required.I am happy with this product.

Produit efficace, utilisé pour des vitres de ma voiture qui grinçaient et également les joints de celle-ci.En ce qui concerne les vitres, produit marche bien mais attention car va laisser une couche du gras dessus, il vous suffira alors de bien les nettoyer après cette manipulation sinon de frotter tout simplement avec du chiffon.

Vraiment parfait pour le traitement des joints de véhicule.Utilisable pour divers autres applications.Je qualifierais ce produit de "WD" de la lubrification d'entretiens.A noter que justement ce lubrifiant convient sur matières poreuse, contrairement au WD40.Les 2 produits sont donc complémentaire et polyvalent.Rapport qualité/prix qui me satisfait (Actuellement 6€).
