Q: Will this fit a gas 1984 ezgo marathon?

Should fit gas just fine. I don't believe they changed shock or leafspring layouts on gas vs electric.

Q: Does this kit come with instructions

No, we just recieved it and there are no instructions at all. The only paperwork with it was a parts list. Instructions would be very helpful, even just basic ones.

Q: Can anyone help me on installing the 4 inch block lift kit for ezgo marathon?

Very simple to do remove the front shock cover plastic piece and remove the bolts that hold the front leaf spring and the two shocks on the front and they line right up will need a Jack. Almost the same in the rear except need to remove the metal part that covers the top of the rear shocks and remove the u-bolts and install the blocks and new u-bolts very easy.

Q: Does the steering need to be lengthened or anything with this lift?

You invert the tie rod connection at the steering arm. it's in the instructions.
