These give an adequate spread of yellow light on our stairs and landing, allowing us to pass safely without switching on the mains lighting. Placing of the supporting metal plates is easy with the provided double-sided sticky pads, but we found that the bond wasn't too good with one painted surface, so re-fixed them with panel pins.The magnetic fixing of the lamps to the plates is a good idea, making it easy to take them off for re-charging. recharging itself takes around an hour per lamp. From that point, we've found that during the winter with dark nights and mornings, we have to recharge around once every six days - OK-ish, but its easy to forget to recharge them, leaving the stairwell dark, while individual pre-charged or rechargeable batteries last much longer and can be replaced quickly.

We bought velcro pads to stuck on the back and we use one above each if our heads in bed. With carpet on the walls you only need to attach the prickly half of the velcro pad to the back of the light and then they will stick anywhere on the carpet walls. The lights give off just the right amount of warm glow to use for reading in bed without being too bright. The only drawback with these is that the switch is not really designed to be turned on and off (because of the notion detection) so it's a bit fiddly to operate.

Handy for the suggested purpose, but also the best cupboard lights I've ever had: no wiring, rechargeable and of course triggered by opening the cupboard door

This motion sensor is easy to set up, the motion sensor is responsive, but there is no option for dimming the light and I found the 6 LED lights too bright for the bedroom and bathroom at night. I think these would probably be great on stairs or an area where you wanted bright lighting.

Arrived promptly, I don't like coming into a dark house, fitted one In the hallway, fabulous, lights up as soon as motion detected

What more can I say about lights that come on when you walk past or stay on static, they were super easy to install with a sticky back that easily attaches to the wall, great product this isn't the first time I've bought these cos they're perfect just to sit at the top of the landing as I have a four-year-old so if she does wake up out of bed she's not coming downstairs into complete Darkness the automatic light gives me that little bit of assurance.

Fantastic product! I have these installed in my bedroom with the auto setting on, so when I get up in the night to use the bathroom etc they nicely light up my walkway without me having to put the main light on or do anything. They are really easy to install with the sticky back tape or can be screw fixed and come with 2 USB charging cables, charging is easy as even though they are stuck or screwed in place they have a magnetic backing that allows the light to easily be removed from the backing plate.
