Five Star IO Star - 32 Ounce - Low Foaming Iodophor

Look, I brew beer as dedicated hobbyist. The ability to prevent infections is paramount to my success. I have always used Fie Start IO Star. It is a great product, easy to use and has never let me down. Having a dependable vendor just makes the whole thing easier. The price and convenience ordering it here is second to none. One last thing, the last time I ordered this, from a different vendor, I got much less, for the same price.I wholeheartedly recommend this vendor.

If you brew your own, you probably already know this stuff is an essential, no-rinse sanitizer. Yes, it will stain in its concentrated form, or if you soak plastic in it overnight. It's iodine, yeesh.

Great product. I have found this to be an effective sanitizing solution without any unusual or off flavors. The only down side to this sanitizer is that it will likely stain plastic buckets.

Frees up a sticky tap in under a minute and probably cleans it out, I’m no scientist but it’s awesome. No more stiff tap after not using my keg for a few days.

I've used this product for about 14 years and it has never failed.

Used in my home bar all the time, be sure to dilute slightly as directed and if used undiluted will slightly tinge plastics like hoses and cups. Rinses well in cool/cold water with next to no foam.

A little better instructions would be nice. Doesent say if I have to rinse or not. But does its job but stains on its way.

Sometimes I need a non foaming sanitizer in my brewhouse and this is the one I have used for 30 years.
