Mini Waste Bin 'Tove' - Small and Unique Design Bin from Berlin | For Bathroom, Kitchen & Desk | 1.5L Capacity, Non-slip, Inner Bucket | Black

I am actually surprisingly delighted with this bin.The main reason I bought it is that it was made in the EU, Germany to be precise.But once I had it in my hands I could fully appreciate its design and material, and I just love it.It has an inner bucket that you use to hold a bag (I use nappy bags).The lid swivels easily when pressed, and then returns to its position.The colour is lovely, I have the white + grey lid. It's a slightly ivory tint of white.Overall, it's completely worth the price.

The bin is compact and fits wells into our bathrooms (1 in each room). Overall it is a nice and neat design and is functional. The only slight issue is the way that the lid pivots in the recess at the top of the bin does not leave a lot of space to place waste into the bin. 99% of the time this is not an issue, but for the odd occasion, the action of placing waste into the bin can dislodge the lid out of its pivot recesses.

Appearance is as expected - neat and compact. Note the lid is “soft touch” which I don’t particularly like because they tend to be dust collectors and more difficult to wipe clean as they are somewhat sticky. I didn’t realise this when purchasing.The product is incorrectly described though. It is not really two litres unless you plan to use without the insert, overfill it and/or take off flip lid. The bin liners I purchased - Brabantia size A fit perfectly, and are larger than the capacity of the bin, so perhaps it is possible to fill it above the top of the insert and then pull the bag around the waste when emptying but I think that would obstruct the lid. Otherwise, it is less that 1.5 litres. I was looking for a small bin, but I wanted 2 litres at least. If I hadn’t just moved into a property with a lot going on, I likely would have returned it.With use, I will be able to tell how the flip lid works. It seems ok but perhaps a little stiff (possibly the bin liner that’s causing that). Unexpectedly, you end up having to put waste into the bin behind the lid rather than the front as the gap is larger/more accessible. Doesn’t seem to be too much of a problem but time will tell.

I use this for my used tea bags as my kitchen is black and white. It fits well and does the job. Nice quality for the price paid.

This bin has everything!It fits neatly at the side of the bed, with a lid that fits perfectly, so no worries about finding a resident spider. The inner bin lifts out to enable the bin bag to be placed and secured, therefore no unsightly bits of plastic sticking out of the side.Seriously it’s great, well worth the money.

Nice little bin for cosmetic wipes etc. The lid is a bit of a faff when it comes off.
