Cord weight for blinds/curtains

Q: my blinds have the cord with beads on them. will this type of cord run freely through the weight?

This weight goes on the other,non beaded,cord. The beaded cord control the twist of the blinds,this one is for opening them

Q: How to fit cord weights

You can see from the picture of the chord weight, its in 2 parts. An outer case, and an inner part with a wheel. Loop the chord over the wheel, and insert it back into the case. Its as simple as that. If the weight is too low to the ground (take care if you have children as the chord can become a danger to them if they can reach it), then you go to your curtain track and shorten the length of the chord by following the instructions that came with the curtain track.
