The small holes are gentle on small plants.

When I did landscaping in my 20s we used these to water all our plants. When my last big box store wand+watering head fell apart I decided to get the best....Doesn't damage plants and easy to use. Can be added to end of a hose or added to a want.

stainless steel screen that is housed on an aluminum body
aluminum body threading on a brass hose coupling....hmmm...could be a corrosion reaction issue built up over time between the two different metals....I use plumbers grease on the mating threads first...Excellent gentle spray on tender plants..

The Title is Deceiving - It is NOT Steel
We received this item and ordered it because the title said in big letters that it is "A.M. Leonard Stainless Steel Water Wand Head". Well, the head is NOT steel.The entire head is aluminum. The threads are also aluminum.This is NOT a professional grade product.The only thing that might be made of steel, is the insert containing the holes.
