How am I supposed to use the lights without a dimmer connection?!?!?!? This is useless without that piece!!! I am very unhappy. First of all - the light dimmer switch connection has a poorly made cord connection which stopped working so I ordered these lights as a replacement. BUT - you only get the lights and no dimmer switch. How do I order a dimmer switch? And why am I paying for extra pieces due to Foldio making an inferior product in the first place?

Buyer beware! These are garbage and have absolutely no way to power them. They are built very cheap and come with no power supply. They are complete junk and returning them. I wish I could give negative stars for sellers like this. Do not buy!!!

I think the price is a little high for what you are getting but they did the trick and I couldn't find them cheaper anywhere else.

Bought two sets to use with my previous purchase of Foldio2 because I needed more lighting. I was surprised to find there are NO plugs and no way to buy those either. This is totally unusable unless you have a newer version of the lightbox.

Connections are not good, not sure if it's the foldio connector cord, or the lights cord, 2 of the lights I've got from them totally stopped working, though im struggling to find the reciept. & when I got replacement ones, I have to use the cord at a weird angle...

▬ Before You Buy ▬▬▬ This is an add-on product for the 'Foldio2 Plus' and 'Foldio3'; they connect to the Foldio in-line command control unit, so avoid getting these if you don't have the specific light boxes mentioned above. ▬ Review ▬▬▬ I must say that it is disappointing that these are additional purchases with how much the Foldio light boxes cost, they should have been included but I digress... In general, the Foldio's do provide a good amount of lighting, however, as the front of the box are completely open, there is nothing there reflecting light back into the box, resulting in some subjects lacking exposure in certain areas; the Halo-Bar set solves that issue. The set-up is very straight-forward as the lights plug straight into the Foldio2 Plus or Foldio3 in-line control unit which also allows you to manually adjust the brightness. You can place them upright or lay them down horizontally, with the latter, you can put them over the magnet on the light box to secure them in place. When it comes to light quality, it's just as good and well diffused as the ones inside the Foldio light boxes so the output is consistent all-round. Whilst I'm not impressed these are add-ons, I can't deny how good they are.

Sto ancora testando l'articolo, diciamo che è buono ma pensavo meglio. Sicuramente il costo non è alto quindi non ci si può aspettare molto. Più che altro sono un pochino instabili.

J'ai acheté le studio portable et j'en suis entièrement satisfaite. Avec ces deux barres supplémentaires le rendu est parfait !
