Excellent Mafia Romance
Emma, a quirky personal assistant, accidentally leaves a dirty voicemail for Ruslan Oryolov, her billionaire boss and the head of the Oryolov Bratva, a powerful Russian mafia organization. Their chemistry ignites during a 7-minute and 32-second meeting, setting the stage for their intense relationship. The children in the story are very well written and contribute significantly to the development of the main characters and the overall depth of the series.

Good read
Wow what a read. I'm not normally a fan mafia or should I say bratva in this case. (if I spelt it right). Ruslan is a hardened man who doesn't trust easily and is against love because of what happened in his life. Emma is struggling with looking after her sisters kids after the accident. And the kids father of he can be called that is vile. It is a dual pov book. Good read it's worth it.

Absolutely loved it!
This book has been sitting in my TBR for months. Finally decided to bite the bullet and I wish I had done it sooner. After weeks of subpar reads, this book was a godsend. I loved it from the first chapter and by the time I was 20% in, I was already giggling to myself. I loved this book so much!!**Possible spoilers ahead**Ruslan is a premium alphahole at the beginning of this book. I was so annoyed by him but also hoping that when he finally inevitably falls for her, he won’t be able to get back up!My favourite thing about this book has been the way this man showed up for her kids - it melted my heart! The way he knows what they need and when they need it and makes sure they have it. He got the kids sneakers, he paid for Josh’s basketball, gave Josh an outlet for his anger, offered up his penthouse for them when they need it 🥹🥹🥹🥹 Gah! Be still, my beating heart! 🥰🥰🥰Also, the way that “contract” was used as a scapegoat for 80% of the book when these two fell for each other at the start of the book. But yeah sure, we’re here because of the ‘contract’ 😄Ben made me so mad, I’ve never hated a book character more. I hope he gets the ending he deserves in the second book.My heart broke for Josh - he deserved to just be a kid. 🥺The miscommunication at the end of the book made me so mad! 😡 I get it though as it provides a launch pad into the 2nd book, which I will be devouring shortly! The narrators killed it! Even though it’s not a duet style narration, their voices were perfect for this! Ah! 👌🏾💛Story - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.75Spice - 🌶️🌶️🌶️Audio - 🎧🎧🎧🎧

Wow. Addictive reading.
Loved this book. I find Nicole Fox’s books can be a hit or miss. Lots of plot twists and turns. Enjoyed the character development and the main characters. Emma’s nieces and nephew are a great addition to this story. Looking forward to part 2 of this series.

The alphahole strikes again
I both love and hate that these duets always leave me on a cliff hanger and deprive me of sleep til I start the next.Ok so this series has Emma the Secretary and her 3 kids (technically her sister's who has died and left them with her) struggling to get by with their drunk abusive father making life hell. Ruslan is the boss who wanted no strings attached arrangement with her until he started falling for her and the kids... Until their agreement is found out and he assumes she is the leak...

A butt call! It's funny and great.
Nicole Fox has done it again. Drew me in with the summary that is funny and horrifying that could happen to anyone. Emma kick-butt character, I love her struggles with work with a very demanding boss and home life. Ruslan was perfect in his role of boss, mafia and male figure to the children. Add is a contract, of smutty times, you have a good thing going. The family dynamics are heartbreaking, compelling and endearing to read. The children were great, Josh was 8 going on 18, and he truly helped out his aunt with everything. No boy or even girl should have to do that every day. He is a true hero. The next two are his little sisters; 6 years old; Caroline and 5 year old Reagan was so cute.I truly love this novel and I wanted it longer.

Great story - very addictive
Cruel Paradise: Book 1I was immediately hooked to the story of Emma and her boss. The writing, the banter and bickering between Emma and Russlan, it was all very funny and entertaining. Emma has great personality, her reactions are very funny. I could easily relate to her.It was real pleasure to read alle the different interactions between Emma and Russlan! I laughed a lot. And it gets intense and very hot between them very quickly. Their chemistry was sizzling. I also enjoyed their interactions with Emma's nephew and nieces, and also between Russlan and best friend /right hand man Kirill.I couldn't put it down.
