According to Fitech no warranty
The product works as advertised. The kit is complete and installation is no real complicated. That said I learned from the manufacturer that it would not be warranted unless purchased from an authorized reseller. After a few calls to tech support and receiving a new data cable my engine fired right up and runs way stronger than when it was carbureted.

looks fantastic, and sounds great
arrived on time, looks fantastic, and sounds great. The display did stop working so that is a concern.

Works great on a 406 small block Chevy engine.
After installing everything and checking for fuel leaks, I primed the fuel system and was surprised that the very first attempt to crank was successful even with the timing inadvertently retarded back to nearly ATDC. Advanced the timing to a static 10 BTDC and it has worked great ever since. The throttle response is as crisp as a new car and I will never use a 4 barrel carburetor again.

Can't get it to run right, don't have enough instruction in the box, have to go online and figure out specs...Look like they would send all the setup specs with the efi…..

What they fail to tell you....
I'm sure this is a fantastic addition to any carburated engine. There is an exclusion they never mention: It won't work with GM electronic distributors. You can get a spark; it will do that. What it won't do is give you Spark Control, ie makes your electronic distributor into a dumb Distributor with NO advance.I asked if there was any feature to tap into the TPS, which would allow the factory ECU to do its job. Answer: Well, first they told me to splice it in, but I couldn't' find any place on the schematic to do so. Then the answer was no.What you have to do is either use a mechanical / vacuum advance distributor OR buy a whole distributor control system. Since I had recently replaced it with a new one, I was not inclined to do that.Seems to me that could have been mentioned in the ad.Edit: So it has been since the first entry and STILL you can't find any mention of this issue in the ad. I also read about someone who tried to wire the HEI pickup coil, but then it wouldn't start ( meaning the continuous pulses that are needed while cranking were missing ).

Do not purchase!!!
I heard horrible stories about Fitech system not working as advertised and should have listened!!! BRAND NEW system has a hard fault code and #1 injector is dead..Contact Fitech tech support and get nowhere.. Now I'm stuck with an expensive POS unit that don't work correctly due to ECU issue and Fitech won't stand behind their product.. What a waste of time and money worst product I've ever purchased or been a part of....

Do not buy!
Fitech support/techs are very knowledgeable but the product is garbage. A part that cost $1000 should not continuously fail.Failed in 6mo. Had to pay shipping to return first time $50. 2nd one failed in less than 3mo(they paid for shipping this time)They will not refund my money, they only want to continue to swap parts that are worthless to me. Bad business. If I could give negative stars for this product I would.

Plagued with Problems Compounded by an Incredibly Inept Customer Service Group
It looks good, and well machined. That's where the compliments stop. The things are hit and miss. There are known issues with these things that they do not care to correct. The electronics are sup-par, the units are prone to fail with the slightest interference, the hand held controller is not dash mountable without wires coming out the sides, and the "Customer Service" is beyond absolutely horrible. There are some goods ones out there, but not that I've seen. Everyone I know who has one of these things regrets the purchase and my engine builder (large builder) has stopped using them due to the customer service issues. Honestly , I do not believe that these guys even know how an engine works, much less how to keep it running. Even the pumps they sell don't hold up and frequently fail.

Buy something else with better reliability.
I understand part of this is technically my fault as a backyard mechanic, but my overall experience with fitech is horrible. I had purchased the 600 hp unit for a car and did not even unbox it until a few months after the 1 year warranty was up. Straight out the box it was inoperable due to a software issue. I contacted customer service and was told buy a new handheld from fitech for 200$ (100$ at other places). And took 10 days to here back from customer service email. Wouldn't even discount the handheld with the product being defective from the factory, and admitted over phone that the earlier units with the toggle button have some problems with dependability.

Extremely happy with product.
What I liked easy installation as instructed. What I didn't like was the price. Yes I went there, just keeping it real. 😄 Overall, good product.
