Room on the Broom in Scots

I love this book.My son does too. We have the English version also but he'll always go for this one. Lots of funny lines and some better rhymes than in the English version.We've been collecting Julia Donaldson's books translated in Scots and they've become a favourite with everyone who's read them.A few friends have bought these books as presents after reading my son's. Everyone loves them.I'd highly recommend Itchy Coo Publications' books; they're brilliant.

Brilliant book! In fact I prefer it to the 'ordinary' room on the broom book, the Scottish translation is funnier, quirkier and thoroughly enjoyable. I only understand basic Scots and there were some words I'd not heard of, so it's been educational too. Kids especially love the 'monster' telling the draigon 'haw you! that's ma witch! pit her doon!' Would definitely recommend.

Sent this book as a present to an English family. One half is Scottish but they all enjoyed reading this book. The children tried hard to copy Scots accent whilst reading it! They had read the English version before but loved this one.

This is an amazing book. The original is great too. I used in my class during Scottish week and the kids loved it.

Read this to the children at school, they loved it. I teach in an English school!

If you go in Pintrest, you are able to find a free printable download of corresponding fun activities. Probably for kinder-grade 2.

A darling book. Be sure to find the animated short that was inspired by this little gem - Netflix or Amazon streams it.

I thought I ordered Room on the Broom but what is got was Room on the Broom - Scots version. Not what I wanted so I returned it.

The dealer sent me a book in Scot. The English version is what I wanted. The book is very cute.
