I bought this shredder in 2022 and it's still going strong. The first thing I did was test it. I gathered 15 sheets of 20 lb paper, stacked them, and then shredded them. They went through with no jamming and with no drag on the motor. Then, I proceeded to shred approximately six bank-sized boxes of paper. That took me several days. I took breaks to not overheat the machine. It never jammed or struggled. I fed a lubricating sheet through the shredder about halfway through the process as suggested by the manufacturer. The shredder still works like new. I don't have to open thick junk envelopes to shred the contents. I just feed the envelope through unopened. A great product.

I took a chance that this shredder would last longer than a year before jams wrecked it. Very unhappy with the A Basics shredder for 40 bucks. Pay more, get more. And I got a lot more. The crosscut shredding takes a second or two longer, but is far more secure and the motor and grinding hardware is clearly much stronger. I have not had a jam yet and did 3 huge loads of junk mail and old files. We'll see where it's at in a year, but I can already tell it is a robust, powerful shredder. Very pleased with the performance - first month or so. Much quieter than the cheap ones.

I recently purchased Bonsaii 15-Sheet Office Paper Shredder from Amazon for my office needs, and unfortunately, it has been nothing but a disappointment from the very start. Upon receiving the product, I eagerly unpacked it and assembled it as per the instructions, only to find that it simply refused to turn on. Despite numerous attempts to troubleshoot and make it operational, it remained stubbornly unresponsive.This experience has been incredibly frustrating and has severely hindered my ability to efficiently manage sensitive documents in my workplace. The sheer disappointment of investing in a product that fails to function properly right out of the box is truly disheartening.In all honesty, I cannot recommend this paper shredder to anyone based on my own firsthand experience. It's been a complete letdown, and I regret the decision to purchase it. Moving forward, I will be wary of similar products and will certainly seek out more reliable alternatives.Overall, this has been a negative and regrettable experience, and I sincerely hope others can learn from my unfortunate encounter and avoid similar disappointments in the future.

I like the cross cut shredding and how small the pieces are for safety purposes. The only thing I wish they'd fix is how top heavy it is. I understand the motor is in the top but it's tipped over a couple of times when I rolled it out from under my desk to use it and it fell over, spilling out the shredded paper.
