We purchased this for an office lobby and it sounds great, and is linked to the computer via bluetooth. The base is really good!

Clean punchy sound

I really dig my old vinyl collection! I display it, I play it and it’s still relevant to this day!As a collector of music I like to surround myself with interesting pieces that reflect my hobbies. If they have awesome practical uses, that’s even better!Enter the Sensemild Bluetooth Speaker Vinyl Record Player Speaker. (Note: It doesn’t actually play records. It’s simply a speaker. Let’s just make that absolutely clear.)So, what exactly does it do? Well, it’s a basic Bluetooth speaker with a few interesting options that looks like a classic record player from the days of way back!First off, syncing it to your phone or tablet is incredibly easy. I turned the unit on for the first time and it automatically started up in pairing mode. I went into the “Bluetooth” option in my iPhone menus and it found the unit and synced up within seconds. Very simple.Again, what does it do? It streams music from your phone or tablet (or you can use the AUX jack) to the unit. It can also read music from a micro SD card from the TF slot on the side of the unit. (See pictures above)To “turn” the unit on, you have to move the “arm” of the record needle over to the left, just as you would with a normal player. It turns on and starts to rotate, also, as a normal record player would. (Make sure to place the tiny record that comes with the unit onto the player itself. It looks really neat rotating to the current song/songs you’re streaming.)On the right side of the unit you have all of your basic functions. You can skip to the next song on your phone/tablet by hitting the “forward” button, or go back by hitting the “back” button. Same goes with pausing or restarting the unit. Just hit the “play/pause” button, and you’re all set!The speaker seems to be a point of contention for some, but considering the size of the unit (a little over 6 inches in width) it’s good enough for a small area. This won’t fill a room with booming sound, but it’s perfect for a bedside table or a desk. Just keep in mind that it’s not built for large areas.Overall, it’s an interesting and cool looking mini speaker with a bit of nostalgic charm. This isn’t for everyone, but it could be for the vinyl lover in your life as cool little gift. For general listening purposes, make sure you keep it to small, basic spaces.4 out of 5!

1. This product is no bigger than a stack of cards. Freaking too cute to begin with. You can probably put this in a homemade doll house with the rest of your miniature stuffed animals.2. The sound quality isn't out of this world, but is a lot better than some because you can actually hear the bass. You also have to turn up your device volume and the volume on the product to get reasonably loud too (getting close to yelling but not yelling loud).3. Bluetooth connection works instantly, no waiting and can easily connect.I wouldn't right this review even if someone paid me, but since I fell in love with product, I couldn't help but write one.

It’s so tiny it’s the size of my finger

It is very small.cute stocking stuffer but that is about it.

UPDATE - HUGE BUMMER!Suddenly, the record plate started squeaking while operating.Not sure if it did this before and I didn't notice because I was listening to music. I was watching a "true crime" YouTube video that was all talking, and the squeak was obvious and SUPER annoying.There is no reason for it to suddenly start doing this.I cleaned the record and the rest of the unit, to no avail. It still squeaks.HUGE bummer. I totally loved this thing until it started doing this...I seriously wanna cry. This thing was AWESOME and it's way too cool-looking.And now, it's a squeaky cat toy. :-(ORIGINAL REVIEW: Okay, aside from the fact this has to be one of the coolest-looking things ever, it rocks!I synched this with my phone, then turned both the phone and the speaker up to the max. It sounded great! No distortion at all. Of course, it's not going to rock the house at a house party, but for your basic bluetooth speaker, it's excellent!You activate the on/of switch by moving the arm of the record player over the record (enclosed). The record actually turns as the audio plays!Now, here's a word about that record:It is VITAL to the operation of this unit!The record is very carefully packed in a cardboard envelope with the instructions. You need to line up the three little bumps on the turntable platform with the bumps on the underside of the record, the record label upright. It should snap easily into place. Do not force it!Overall, I think this bluetooth speaker is really awesome, and would be a really cool and unique gift.

Only con was that it’s a little smaller than what I imagined but overall, great for a gift!
