Does the job.
Bought one and really happy with it. Heats up nicely and keeps the humidity down. I’ve had no rust since installing in a humid basement. I liked it so much I bought another one.

I bought this as a replacement of my previous golden rod which stopped working, which I purchased over 20 something years ago. So I figured I would use it again due to reliability. Works as intended.

Good product. Buy one size larger than you think you need
Good product with excellent support from MAXsafes. When you buy from MAXSafes if you have any after purchase questions or need any help with the product they are one of the best at seeing that your satisfied with your purchase. I found that I needed one size larger for my gun safe and MAXSafes refunded my purchase for a 12" and sent a 18" at a great price! My questions and communication with them was handled very quickly and to my total satisfaction. One suggestion, buy one size larger. That was what worked the best for me. Details of my install: My safe is installed in a room in a corner of my house against two outside walls (takes a little more to heat). The room is kept at 68 degrees. the inside dimensions of my safe are 22"w x 15"d x 54"t. Right now the average temperature is 72.5 degrees with a average humidity of 48.9 percent. These readings were taken with a Govee Bluetooth Digital Hygrometer placed inside the safe and could vary a little plus or minus. It has been very humid here for the last month or so 70% or more outside and about 45% in the house. When the humidity inside the house levels out (normally 35%) I expect the humidity in the safe to lower some also and will be about perfect for storing my equipment.

Easy install
Very well thought out product with a plug that can be removed and replaced. Good for safes that do not have an internal receptacle and require the cord to be routed through the safe wall.
