Q: Will this product remove rust from chrome

It will remove the rust, but is a strong acid so we would recommend using it lightly and not leaving the product on the chrome for long as it can damage the surface. As always it is best to try on a small are first.

Q: Can i use this product on a cast iron woodstove first, then coat with a high heat paint?

Rust Remover will work well on this. Clean the surface and ensure all grease is removed, then use a wire brush to remove loose rust and scuff the surface and then apply. Leave to work for 15-30 mins and then wipe off with a dry cloth (don't leave to dry). If rust is still present, reapply and work with the wire brush. Once back to bare metal and wiped clean, apply the high heat paint in up to 2 thin coats. If applied too thickly, high heat paint can peel away. Jenolite
