Perfect
It does come extremely flat but within a few hours, it is a perfect size to help raise me. I just had full knee replacement surgery. Great pillow!!

Not for shorter person
I only gave it a 3 because although it makes getting off my rocker recliner easier. Its height addition makes getting into it difficult and once reclined unless you have an electric recliner you may be stuck in recline like a turtle on its back trying to get out and lower legrest. If it had been 3 inches instead of 5 I think it would have been perfect.

Hubby gets sore from sitting after a while
For some reason, this just isn’t working out great, and I’ve been buying multiple brands to try. This one , unfortunately isn’t doing the trick. He also seems to have a bit more of a problem getting out of chair, even though he is pretty tall, 5’10”. That along with him not being able to sit for an extended period of time, some sliding forward as well, makes this less of a good match than others already purchased. I wouldn’t buy again, but may work for your situation.
