Love it! Crisp clear affordable water!
Owned it for about 2 weeks now. I figured that I could take advantage of the price and always use different filters in the future if I didn't like these.SPEEDFor me, this filters quickly enough. I am a single person and I wait until it gets to the bottom to refill so it doesn't overflow. I fill it to above the black filters, about an inch below the top. I can hear the water trickling. I think it takes about an 1.5 hours for 2 gallons. It got faster after several fills.Flow from tap is wonderful so I can fill my mug or coffee pot quickly.SIZE - 2.25 GALFor a single person, this is the amount I use per day. I fill a 14 cup coffee maker and drink 64-72 oz water per day. If someone else lived with me, would likely fill this twice.FILTERINGPreviously I used a Brita sink filter. I liked the water taste and it lasted long enough. I tested tap water and Brita water. Honestly not much difference in testing but tap tastes awful to me. This filter seems to taste slightly more flat than Brita. Our city doesn't add fluoride so I am only using the black filters it came with. The main difference is the clarity of the water. This filter gives me really crisp, clear looking water. I'm really loving it!PRICEGot this on sale for around $120 which is a steal. My Brita filters were good for 100 gal at $10-15 each. This is $50 for a 2pk that says it will filter 6k gallons. If I change it at 3k gallons (to be safe), it's so much cheaper!!! That's less than $1.75 per 100 gallons!!I will update as time goes by to comment on filtering abilities over time and maintenance.UPDATE 8/11/25still loving the filter. I think my cats prefer it over my old Brita because I have been refilling their water fountain more. No leaks. Still great taste and crisp look. Still 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

Wonderful Water Filter for Families on a Budget!
I moved into a new rental in October, 2023. Within the first month, I realized my skin and hair felt gross. I was getting breakouts on my face, my hair was getting super oily, even after washing it, and my skin felt really dry and itchy. I have a tabletop ice maker, which I've always filled with tap water. After moving here, I noticed a weird slimy film in the water reservoir.I decided the water here is filled with something that's not good. I immediately bought a filter for my shower and within two showers, the difference was absolutely astonishing. Then I started buying and drinking only bottled water. I even gave my cats and dogs purified water that I bought, ten gallons at a time. In short, I've spent a LOT of money on water.Last summer, I joined a preping group on Facebook and I noticed a lot of people were talking about water filtration systems. Curious, I went on a hunt for information. I compared quality, price, convenience, aesthetic, etc. I finally landed on this Purewell water filtration system. The system arrived quickly and in good shape. It was super easy to put it together. Basically, all I had to do was choose a spigot (it comes with a metal one and a plastic one) and attach it, then install the filter. Within ten minutes of the system arriving, I was filtering water. My system holds a little over two gallons at a time. Between the amount I drink and use to cook with, refilling my water bottles (pictured here), and the amount I use to fill my pet fountains every day, I fill my system about three times a day.At this point, I've had the filter set up for almost four weeks. Since then, I have noticed my coffee and teas taste better, and the water tastes so good, I've been drinking about a gallon a day!Even better: I have spent zero money on bottled or gallons of water since I got my Purewell! It's quickly paying for itself. I highly recommend this water filtration system for you and your family!

The water filter you didn’t know you needed.
Excellent, compact water filtration system. The set up was a bit tedious for me, but worth it. Currently, it’s on the stand at the sink. This was optimal for draining after priming the filters. The stand was wobbly so before refilling again removed it putting the filter directly on the edge of the counter. The water tastes good, surprisingly after spring water forever. Usually drink room temp and fill 1-2 glass bottles to refrigerate. Finally, no more buying jugs, gallons or cases of water taking up so much space!

Good size and easy setup.
Purchased this because the water at my complex is very hard. (My coffee pot requires weekly descaling). This filter System was larger than I expected. Easy to setup and use. Did an OK job, but still left residue in the water. Removed some of the salty taste caused by the water softener system but there was still considerable buildup in my coffee maker. Used it for 3 months before deciding to seek another solution. In defense of the system, it is well-made and easy to use. Once primed, it works quickly and dispenses without leaking.

Excellent Water Filtering System - Highly Recommend!!!
I own a 2.25 gallon Berkey and wanted a water filter for my RV so decided to try this one to see how it measured up and compared to the more expensive Berkey... I am thrilled to report, the water is just as good and I love the "view feature" where you can actually see how full the bottom section really is. The water tastes fabulous (I have hideous tasting water in my neighborhood - full of nasty tasting chemicals).
