Used to replace my CPU cooling fan. It runs so slow with such little noise that I had to keep checking to make sure it was running. It speeds up when needed but it's still really quite and provides good airflow to keep everything within its proper heat range. Good price for a nice quality fan.

Nice and quite with good flow at various speeds. I used this on a garage stereo project. Imaging this.....A custom wooden box with vents in the bottom and at the top sides. This fan is fitted in a fabricated air intake frame, pulling air from the bottom and blowing it up on the Kenwood stereo heatsinks and Fosi amp. Also in the box is the Fosi amp PS and a 120V to 12v transformer. I hooked up a 4 pin speed controller, so the speed of the fan could be tuned down slightly. It flows air so well, it if probably only running at 1/2 capacity.

Fan itself is fine. Quiet. Does what I need it to do. But do yourself a favor and do NOT use the screws that come with it. I started using the screws and removed them because they were easily stripping out. Replaced three with better screws I had. One I can’t remove at all now because it was so easily stripped with me trying to remove it. It’s like they mixed the metal with butter or something.

This is a great little fan. I got it to keep my ram cool and it does it's job splendidly. It can get loud at 100%, but I don't have a reason to have it that high. I currently have it at 50%, and you can hear it a bit at that level, but not much. Playing around with it, you can get it whisper quite at around 30-40%, and at that level it is still very effective. No complaints.

I needed a front fan for a Dell Optiplex 5050 SFF that could push a decent amount of air into the chassis due to a overheating Graphic card. This little ARCTIC P8 Max does a good job and are cooling the whole system to a new level. At lower speed the fan is pretty silent, but a 3000+ RPM this get a bit noisy, but still good value for the price.

I installed this fan as an emergency replacement for a damaged OEM CPU fan in a Dell Inspiron 3471 running an i9-9900 processor. My concerns going in were whether the Dell BIOS embedded controller would accept a third party fan signal — it did without any issues. Passed POST on first boot with no fan errors thrown. Performance has been impressive. CPU temperatures are sitting at 40°C under gaming load with a maximum of 46°C during extended sessions running demanding titles like Pragmata and Marvel Rivals. The fan is currently running at around 3,300-4,400 RPM under load and the Dell EC is reading and controlling it correctly via PWM. Installation was straightforward — fit the existing Dell shroud without modification. The 4-pin PWM connector is compatible with Dell's proprietary fan header. For anyone trying to replace a Dell OEM CPU fan on a budget and worried about BIOS compatibility — this fan works. Super silent, almost impossible to hear while working. I don't have a professional tool to measure airflow, but with my hand in front of the PC, I can feel the hot air being pulled out.

Pression statique (le critère n°1 pour moi sur mon projet) ≈ 5,3 mmH₂O, donc très puissant. Je le mets à 60%. Il est très silencieux a cette vitesse. Si vous le mettez à 100% il fera du bruit (très supportable), mais on ne lui demande pas d'être silencieux mais puissant et il fait le job!

excellent swap out for lower-power server setups. much quieter than the stock fans, use less power so they happy to run multiple off a single regular motherboard header, but they still max out near 5000RPM without excessive noise for quite good airflow. Seems like a perfect upgrade for 80mm server builds that don't need jet engine airflow but still need more than a Noctua 80mm would offer without adding much more noise. Time will tell how reliable they are, but i've used Arctic in the past in normal builds and they lived the life of the machine, but in a hot 24/7 server it might be a different story. we will see.

このサイズなので、フル回転させると相当煩いですが、MBのスマートファンとかで、CPUやGPUではなくシステム基準で静音設定にすれば、結構静かです。 2個並べて排気で使用中。

Bought for itx build pc. Tried a slim version but this is better, great gusts of air relatively quietly. Splendid.
