Unnecessary fear
In every book you read, you think you might have handled the situation differently. In this story we are faced with lies, fear and background differences. These differences were the reason for the lies but fear caused the real trouble. This was a story with a lot of twists but unending love. Great read!

Couldn’t put it down
This book is a must read!! Ivy does a phenomenal job weaving in characters in the other books in the series. I love how Ivy creatively blends the stories in the series together without creating gaps in the story, allowing each book to be read as a stand alone.Annalise and Riley’s journey began in college but a stalker forced her to go on the run… and kept her running for 11 years. This story begins with Annalise deciding to come home. She’s ready to stand up and fight to stop running, to get her life back. Riley’s path crosses Annalise as part of her protection team. Dishonesty threatens to tear them apart but when she comes face to face with her stalker, Annalise realizes how much she loves Riley. This is truly a sweet love story and together Annalise & Riley find their HEA.If you’ve read the previous books in this series, a lot of questions are answered. A LOT. I loved the plot twists but to avoid spoilers I will just say I was only partially right about the villain of the story. I must admit that I was very disappointed in the choices Aiden made and the impact they have on the family. Even though he was young and had no idea how to take care of his family, he can be selfish and arrogant. He’s had moments like this in the previous books but there were lots of moments in this book that made me think of him as an arrogant ass who thinks he knows best for everyone. I’m hoping Aiden is redeemed in book 9!!

She's been running for years.
Annalise and Riley are given a second chance at love in the midst of fear, jealousy, secrets, betrayal, lies, danger, threats, violence and past murders. It's a suspenseful tale with passion, trust issues and some mysteries solved. You'll definitely want to read this series in chronological order.

It's ok, a nice mystery but can drag
The story is just ok, it's not on par with the others in this series. This book and the one previous just don't seem to be on the same level as the others. This book has a good mystery to it, although I had figured it out before the reveal, but the story tends to drag in places. Part of that might be just that I have no patience for the wishy-washy "what do I do?" type of character that Annalise can be at times. It gets old. Thankfully that aspect doesn't last long. But she does like to jump to conclusions and rant without allowing people to talk and then run away. I began to wonder how old she was, acting like that. If it wasn't for the mystery, this book would be a dud. The mystery definitely makes this book.

Engaging the Billionaire...
The Winters Saga book 8. A fantastic story. Annualized and Riley chemistry makes this book a fabulous read. Love lost, misunderstood, stomped on and then revived. Now add family drama, secrets and Aunt Amelia up to her usual tricks and this book takes you there. In love with this family I am. The twists that hit you never see coming. Onto the next book.

The anticipation was killing me
It’s rare that the mysteries continue to go unsolved from book to book when they are different main characters/POV, so even though I thought I knew exactly who was responsible, I was going crazy waiting for confirmation. Although, there was one tiny part of the story I didn’t see coming. I definitely thought the same person was responsible for all of it, so finding out that person knew about the first part and covered it up, but wasn’t the one to do it, was a surprise to me! I’m almost as happy as a Winters or a Sinclair that Annalise is finally home. Riley and Annalise deserve happiness after all of these years and I can’t wait to get more peaks at their life together in the next book. Also, can we talk about Anbelle’s coffee, mochas and hot chocolate? Because these books are giving me a serious craving.

Another great read in the Winter’s family saga
Lots of action and some questions answered make this a captivating read. With a stalker for eleven years, Annalise is tired and wants to go home. A plausible ruse to ferret out the stalker puts Riley right back in the crosshairs and gives Annalise and Riley a second chance at happiness. Finally we get answers as to who killed two sets of Winter parents to bring closure for their offspring and finally end the stalker saga. Ms. Layne has done a fine job with plot lines and we’re left with one piece of the puzzle yet unsolved. Who is and where is the missing half sibling? Maybe we’ll find the answer in Aiden’s story yet to come. Enjoy this exciting story and bask in a HEA for Annalise and Riley.

Cant wait to read about Aiden next
EXELLENT!!! I was so glad that Annalise finally came home. She was running for so long. And we finally found out more about the family and the deaths of James, Anna, Hugh and Olivia. I still think there is more to it. But we shall see. Lise leaving Riley was so upsetting. I always wondered what she said to him to have them split the way they did. But now we know. And I have to say, Riley should have known better. They both made mistakes but thank goodness they are together again.I know something was off with one of the family friends. I still have my doubts about another one but perhaps when Aiden's story comes out, we will find out more. I am looking forward to "Compromising the Billionaire." Reading the first chapter may wet your appetite but I cant wait to find out what happens.

In my top 5, excellent - don’t miss this one
I love this series and I loved this book. We finally got to read Annalise’s story. She finally got to come home and be with her family rinding the courageous take a stand. This story is about Annalise and Riley and it was fantastic and one of my favourite! I loved that we finally got a better understanding what the family had been through and why. Some of the mystery revealed. This series is one of my top 5. It is filled with mystery and suspense and hot alpha males who fall for strong, independent and beautiful women. These amazing characters have been meticulously created and written about over the course of 8 books - so far. No one writes this genre better then Ivy. Please, please keep writing this series. I could read the whole series over again and will. But now we know.
