Easy to assemble, only works on perfectly flat roads
I got this for my youngest two kids. The one is 3 and definitely too young, but the other is going to be six soon, so she's going to be ready for it pretty soon. In the meantime, I figured that my 11 year old twins could ride it. They are skinny, but definitely getting tall for 11 year old girls. They are already 5'7" now. They are about 90 pounds, so they come in well below 132.So, I put this together in no time. That didn't require anything special. It did have some charge, but I stuck it on the charger before I let them ride it. One took it down the driveway while the other one chased after her on foot. Then they pushed it back up. My driveway is not extremely steep or anything, but this just refused to go up it. They kept the throttle pushed down in E speed and it helped push itself, so that's something. There is a road that loops around the back of my house and out to several of the other buildings on my property. That is nearly perfectly flat. This does just fine on that. In top gear, the battery only lasted about 20 minutes before it had been down to its last bar for a bit. So, it's mostly just for playing around. Maybe it would last longer with a small 8 year old on it.My 11 year old twins quickly got bored of this and grabbed two of my adult scooters that go 20mph to mess with. My five year old was losing her mind though, so I let her ride it in low gear while I walked alongside of it. She is completely obsessed with it. Since it has the three speeds, I can let her learn to balance herself on it in low gear and she'll never be going fast enough to hurt herself. I can also stick right there, which I definitely cannot do with the adult scooters as they zing along at 20mph. I could run that fast when I was much younger, but those days are long gone. She doesn't go down the driveway, and is perfectly content looping around the farm road, which is mostly safe because it's entirely private. The only problem there is the fact that I have half a small town's worth of relatives living here and dozens of cars. Though, they all know not to drive like idiots around my road. So, for the 11 year olds, this was a no go. The 5 year old is having a blast though.

Safe speeds for young kids, performance is so so
SmooSat PRO Electric Scooter for Kids Ages 8+ 130W, Colorful Rainbow Lights, 5/8/10 MPH, 60 min Ride Time, LED Display, Adjustable Height, Foldable E-Scooter for Kids and Teens, BlackThe scooter is well made and decent quality. Even at my weight as a grown man it didn't flex or have any issues scooting me around in certain modes. Has multiple modes for speeds and different colors for the LEDs. Economy and Normal mode worked great, getting upwards of 10mph, even when I rode it, I'm 200lbs. Motor does not trigger until you reach 3mph or greater and maintain a speed of 3mph or greater. If it drops to 3mph or lower it will shut off the motors. Battery range is good, I was able to take it all the way around my block with still plenty of battery life left. Breaking is done through standard friction breaking like most manual scooters by pressing a the back fender on to the tire. It's also not that heavy and folds down like most manual scooters for easy storage and carrying it around. The only problem we encountered is that the speed mode doesn't work well. I thought maybe it was due to my weight, but even when my younger kids rode on it, the speed mode would not engage properly and would cut out quickly.Battery is sealed in. I haven't checked to see how replaceable it is if at all.The motor overall is pretty weak and mainly designed for flat surfaces. They will have to scoot it up hills. This is more of an electric assisted scooter than a full out electric scooter.

Ok, but not exceptional
With a weight limit of 132 lbs. this scooter is geared to small adults or kids.My daughters figured out how to work it pretty quick. On level ground it worked fine, but they were disappointed with it when they came to an incline. This scoter is more of an electric motor assist scoter. If your kids understand that then they will be happy. If they thick it is a 100% electric scoter than they may be disappointed. I think this scoter works well for what it was designed for.

Fun Ride
I ordered this electric scooter for my daughter. She's still a little too young for it, but it won't be long before she's able to ride it. Instead, my husband and oldest son have played around on it just to cruise to the nearby convenient store and back and it works really well. They've had a lot of fun on it (my husband's a giant kid). The lights are very bright and pretty. They also provide added visibility when riding the scooter at night. It's definitely an attention-grabber.The ride itself is comfortable, and the scooter easily reached 20 mph (on mostly flat road) which is perfect for zipping around town. The motor is pretty quiet and the suspension does a good job of absorbing any little bumps in the road. The scooter is also quite portable, and I can fold it up and take it with us when we go to the park. It would probably be a great option for a college student wanting to quickly and easily get from their dorm room or parking lit to classes. I wish I had this when I was on campus! The battery life is decent, and it lasts about 20 miles on a single charge, which is more than enough for what we will use it for in a day. It charges relatively quickly, taking about four hours to reach full capacity. All in all, I am very satisfied with this scooter. It is a high-quality, reliable mode of transportation that will definitely turn heads with its colorful lights. Whether you are looking for an environmentally friendly mode of transportation or just something fun to ride, this scooter is a great option.

Nice scooter
I found this scooter to be a great design and of good quality material. It has a light on the base of the scooter that looks great and helps to be seen if driven at night. The tires are sturdy and the scooter is easy to handle and fold. The accelerator and brakes work properly, it is very easy to drive.Perfect choice for a gift.My 9-year-old son enjoys using it.I liked a lot.
