Excellent history of Ealing studios

This is a history of Ealing studio from begining to end. Ealing was an English studio that produced some of the best movies in the WORLD in the late 1940s thru the mid-1950s. Among the movies produced were 'Passport to Pimlico', 'Whisky Galore', and 'Kind Hearts and Coronets', etc., etc., etc. This listing does not even begin to do justice to just the movies that are world famous. The book is well written and comprehensive with many photos of the productions and the stars.. I give this book my highest recommendation-and recommend you view DVDs of some of these movies. You will be "blown away."

Very interesting read for anyone interested in British film history.

This book is a really interesting background to the old film studios. It contains lots of wonderful pictures of pure nostalgia. A must read to anyone who remembers fondly the great comedies of the era.
