These lenses meet the army standard AR 670-1 for dress wear. They are non-mirrored black lenses. (They do have a stealth reflective coating that prevents the wearers eye movement from being seen as well as blocking IR rays. This stealth coating complies with army standards.) In addition, these select lenses feature the highest optical clarity we provide. As we are only selling the lenses (no frames) we are not allowed to endorse them for active combat and should not be a replacement and/or alternative to government issued protective eyewear in combat situations. Our lenses are tough and it is the buyer's responsibility to install them in authentic Oakley frames in order to gain the level of protection they can provide. Don't replace your Polarized with these
I bought these lenses strictly based off the reviews (specifically Jeff's review). My Oakley polarized lenses had more than enough abuse so it was time to replace.These lenses are not as good as the polarized lenses but do exceed expectation for being at least half the cost of Oakley if you are replacing normal lenses. Durable and strong
These lenses are just about as good if not better then Oakley lenses. I use my sun-glasses almost constantly. I recently started doing a lot of outdoor sports such as biking snowboarding etc. After high usage of my Oakley half-jackets, the lenses started scratching. I have had these lenses for about 6 months now and don't yet have a single scratch. I dont take as good care of them as I should either.The lenses fit perfectly in the half-jacket frames and are the exact same size as Oakley XLJ's.The lenses are dark and mirrored and block the sun well. I love these lenses for a price much cheaper then Oakley's I will be sure to come back when I need a replacement.

These did not work for me.
I kind of expected them not to as I can only wear real Oakley lenses. They seemed to have been made of high grade material but as other "unauthentic" sunglasses these gave me headaches in bright sunlight. I called customer service and was told that it may be a defect and to try another pair. I paid to send it back and heard nothing back. I started a requisition with Amazon in March I bought them in December and received my money back from them.

Not bad, but not great
I like the look of the lenses, but the optics leave a little to be desired. Even a slight smudge is a pain to clean off, and causes a noticeable distortion. I assume using glasses cleaning solution with a microfiber cloth will clean these. The lenses picked up a couple dings within the first week of use, I haven't dropped them and use a case. Bottom line, if I was in the market for lenses again I would look else where.

Great Product
When I got these, they didn't fit. They were about 2mm to small for my frames, so I contacted the company. They had the correct lenses in the mail in no time, before I had even gotten to the post office to return these. They arrived quickly and were a perfect fit. Great deal for the money.

Inexpensive but durable replacment lenses
They were inexpensive and fit right into the Oakley Half Jacket sunglasses. Durable as lenses come, I've dropped them several times without a scratch. Great lense replacements. The only drawback, with the dark black you have to take them off while going through any retinal scanner.. no big deal. RDE
