This is not for using very often. It filters very well, but isn't as well finished as a professional mask. Easy to adjust to make sure it fits and seals well. I used it for a couple cans of SprayMax 2k.

I bought this for projects around the house such as paint and staining projects.The mask seems to work really well to help block out the toxic fumes when I am working on a project. Especially the wood stain projects. This will be used all summer long!

I got this for spraying some undercoating paint under my car. The fit seems pretty good, I have a smaller face and I think this would also work on someone with a larger face too. The adjustment straps are easy to use. I wear a CPAP mask at night so I'm used to wearing masks, and although it doesn't fit as well as my very expensive CPAP mask, I can tell it seals pretty well for an inexpensive mask. I haven't tried it with the filters yet as they come in a vacuum sealed bag and I don't want to open them till I'm ready to paint. I am aware that there are better filters for spray painting, but I will be doing this outside with plenty of fresh air (not in an enclosed spray booth). The price of this is very reasonable for my piece of mind.Update: I did the undercoating spraying today and had a small problem with the mask. The part of the mask where the neck strap attaches broke just enough that the strap popped off the mask when I attached the clasp behind my neck. This was easily remedied by wrapping electrical tape around the broken connector. I was able to complete my project and the mask worked as it should. When I removed the mask, I could smell the strong odor of the undercoat spray which was undetectable while wearing the mask. The mask and filters did their job but I would say that you can only expect a few hours use before it's garbage. If that strap connector had broken in the middle of the job, I'd have been furious. While the price was right, I would rather pay a little more for better quality, especially for personal protective equipment.

We have done some home renovations that involve scraping old lead paint. When doing this, we've used masks like these in the past, but figured we'd give this one a shot as mine was getting nasty. Unfortunately, the filters were harder to put on - had both me and my boyfriend stumped for several minutes. Once we got those in a place we were happy enough with, I could not fit it to my face. Maybe because they're made for larger faces, but no amount of adjusting made me feel like it was really secure around my skin. Dealing with lead paint is no joke, so I'll stick to my old gross mask. Price seems decent at least.
