misleading description + bad seller = 2 stars :(
It is really misleading to call this a 2 cup coffee pot. They recently added into the description that it produces 1-1.5 ounces which is a little more clear but I'm still not sure how that translates into a 2 cup pot. (I understand the measurements are based on making expresso shots that you can then mix with milk and have a mug of a latte type coffee). This pot maybe holds 1.5 ounces of water which isn't the real problem. The funnel that you put your coffee grounds into does not hold enough coffee to brew a strong shot. You would need to brew twice with this pot to get a half mug of coffee. If you are looking to make a 1/2 of an average coffee mug of strong brew to mix with milk or water you will need at least a 4 cup pot and maybe a 6 cup. The two stars are mostly for the experience of trying to return this product to 'On Cloud 9' It took forever to receive this in the mail and then after realizing I would need to return I had to request a return and wait 5 days to hear from them. Then they couldn't find the pot 2 weeks after returning it. I was finally refunded (by Amazon) 2 months after ordering. However I think that Vev-Vigano makes quality products I would advise going to a different seller and ordering a 4-6 cup pot. This 2 cup pot would work for someone who truly only wanted a few sips of medium strength coffee each morning.

Vev Vigano 8152 Vespress 2-cup coffee pot
This is a beautiful pot but it is really not 2 cup, so I had to return it. Italian espresso measures are about 2 ounces, and this barely holds enough liquid for one espresso. Two cups of espresso should be about 4 ounces, and this is not. At least, that is my understanding of espresso measures. It would probably be perfect for one cup of espresso.

Coffee Pot was not what I expected
The coffee pot was in great condition, and the shipping was very timely. However, it was way smaller than I expected, so I will probably not use it.

AWESOME!!!
I used to use aluminum expresso maker from Bialetti.Aluminum pots make aweful smells of rubber and some weird stuff; You can't wash it with detergent either because it gets oxidized easily. However, with this stainless steel expresso maker, it's smell-free and dish-washable.Plus I love the small size of this, perfect for 1~1.5 person for the morning shot.AWESOME!!!

The lid of the Coffee maker came off and also ...
The lid of the Coffee maker came off and also it is difficult to insert the filter of the coffee because of the imperfection on the circular form

Poor Quality
The lid broke welded points when i was doing the dishwasher and the inside powder coating (gray area) or something like that is pealing beautiful but too weak

It is OK
Picture is nice and product should be but little things irritate: lid is not positioned well and top of pot bent little off.It makes good coffee, so the ratings is to the seller that buys and sells little off quality product.

Rusts after two uses, does not brew properly
I'm an experienced moka pot user and thought I'd go for a stainless steel with all the concern about aluminum. My aluminum Bialetti was tossed, and I purchased the Vepress 2 cup stainless steel. It looks as beautiful as the picture shows, and the gold accents get major style points. Fit and finish are just OK, with the lid hanging at a noticeable angle when closed. The handle was also attached at an angle on the body of the moka pot. My first two cups were made without issue, though the volume of coffee varied quite a bit which was surprising since I always fill to right below the valve, and double check it before putting it on my hotplate. After brewing, I washed all the components in water, shook the excess water off, and set all 3 pieces on the table to dry, disassembled just as the directions stated. I know that rust can be an issue with stainless steel over time, so I tried to be proactive about it.Two days later I'm about to make my 3rd pot, and I notice rust on the water reservoir. Not brown coffee residue, but reddish rust that doesn't scrub off. I don't know how this happened so quickly, especially since I stored it face up, dry. I can't imagine this lasting much longer. My third pot of coffee simply failed. All the water had completely left the reservoir, the coffee was wet, but nothing came out from the top. Now, I know how to use a moka pot. I always fill the water to the right level, I fill the basket to the top with coffee and never tamp it down, I remove all the grounds from the edge of the basket, and I screw the thing together very tightly. It just didn't make coffee. I never had issues like these in the past with other moka pots, and I can't recommend this product to anyone.
