These are very good value for the price. There are multiple colours and the texture is fine. They are chalk based I believe, so leave a bit of dust. For use in drawings, this is useful as you can gently brush the paper to smooth the colours. This gives a very pleasing effect.

Packaged in a nice robust box, two layers of pastel sticks. Plenty of colour choices. There are four luminous sticks which look interesting although I haven't tried them yet.They are super soft and quite crumbly, you don't need to press hard at all. They blend extremely well with fingers or kitchen towel and the colours are very vivid. I did a quick picture with them of a tutorial I saw on Youtube to test them out. Looks rather nice I think. Seem like quality pastels.I would use them mostly for backgrounds, larger areas and blending as they are too soft for detailing - the corners blunted very quickly. Pair with pastel pencils for finer detail and you could get some stunning artwork. Cover your edges though as they do produce a fair amount of dust and will likely migrate to other bits of your paper you wanted to keep clear unless you cover it up.

Thought I would try and get creative and buy the 48 piece set. Nice set but unfortunately one pastel was broken. Presumably due to delivery!

Bought for use with polymer clay, to give more subtle shading than paint, as recommended by my crafting friend.Love the choice of colours, and as I bought the large (72) set, they'll last me for ages. Great quality and great value for money.

I wasn't expecting these to go down on paper so smoothly as the price is so low. I was expecting them to maybe be a bit grotty and scratchy but i was pleasantly surprises .The colours are really nice too

Bought these pastels to add color to my polymer clay for jewelry. They really are the best value for your money. Small in size but a little goes a long way! Easy to use. Easy to clean up. Versatile for many crafting projects. Great gift as well.
