The media could not be loaded.  Unlike a few others the unit I received hasn't fallen apart and I've used it for months removing couch grass and pulling up bindweed roots.A few people have had problems with it not properly pulling weeds up and the tines getting blocked. That's exactly what I found and initially thought it was junk, but I later realised it's because I was using it wrongly. I was basically trying to use it as a rake which it isn't. Pushing and pulling it backwards and forwards through the soil breaks the plants and pulls up the roots. When you push it forwards it clears the tines.Using it properly I've found it brilliant for removing bindweed roots.

Brought as gift. reciever said angle of handle makes it hard to use he had to bend it into a better angle

Would be a good, useful tool if it were better made. It bent the first time I used it. The concept is good but let down by its flimsy materials used.

Needed a hand tool to weed a flower bed with lots of paving slabs on it. When this tool arrived I decided to sharpen the prongs so that they have a cutting action. Since doing this it has worked very well for me. I use it in conjunction with a similar hoe-type hand tool. Very pleased that I purchased this tool.
