Great games available preloaded
The controls are easy to use. The display is bright enough for a decent gaming experience. Battery backup is good for 4-5 hours of continuous play. Expandable slot available for a data storage. The speaker is adequate...not for noisy places.. headphone jack available.

A compact retro-gaming machine
Very convenient and portable retro-gaming console. Nice screen and gaming experience. Battery could last a little longer before recharging.

Great system for the money....
I think I would give this 4.5 stars or even 4.75 stars if that was a thing, but, unfortunately, Amazon found that to be too cumbersome for their website. This is a great system. Before I tell you why I subtract one star, here are the reasons I love it. You can add roms, pretty easily if you are familiar with rasbian systems. This portable comes with duel front ends, the stock OS and Garlik OS. Garlik OS is similar to Retropie, but has less options, which is to be expected on a portable system. I love this little handheld. It plays up to PS1 games and plays some of our favorite PC games, either via the DOS emulators, or via the PORTS. To be fair, there is a nostalgic relevance for this hand held for aging gamers like myself. I'm astonished that I'm playing Warcraft 2 or Zork: Nemesis in the palm of my hands. Younger players won't appreciate the incredible leap forward it is to play these classic games in the palm of your hand. But, for those of us who were there when beefy, thick laptops were Pentium 1s running Windows 3.1, it is amazing to run your favorites on a tiny hand held. That said, this system has surprisingly intuitive controls, great customization via retroarch, and excellent expandable emulation. I have never really gotten into portables, but this system is like having a retropie in the palm of your hands. Now, for the minus one star portion of this review. If you are not into the deep end of emulation, you probably won't even understand, let alone appreciate most of these complaints, so, for you, this would be a 5 star rating. For those of you who understand the deep end of the emulation pool, here are some things I didn't like. There are a lot of emulators that lack flexibility. For example, FBA does not allow for screen rotation, and that is SUPER frustrating to deal with, especially with arcade games. I understand the limitations of the emulator, but this is not the case with more beefy front ends like emulation station. I don't appreciate the lack of "meda-data" in this system. I wish there was a way to delete, edit, or even scrape the meda-data for each rom on the fly, without the need to eject the memory card. This could give you the opportunity to re-name games and change the picture connected with that game. But that is absent from this system. Overall though, I love this little hand held, and I think it is well worth the money. I would recommend this to a friend. I, in fact, am recommending it to friends. It's a well built, sturdy little gadget to keep on hand for those rainy days away from home in a no wi-fi zone. It will bring the comforts of your gaming past into a very cool present. It is a complete system and will play all your games, up to the PS1, flawlessly.

Tons of games
Hours of fun to be had. Has many games from multiple consoles. Not N64 or later, but older. Worked great for long flights. More games can be added by following simple instructions with an internet search. This will be useful if looking to add Mario games

I love it!
I searched and searched for a good portable game console. Did lots of research and read a lot of reviews. This is hands down the best I've seen for my purposes.Battery life is great, and you can always plug it in and keep playing if it does go dead. Display is crisp and clear, sound is good, and it has a quality feel in your hand. Seems well built.I love being able to download more games, but the classics it came with have kept me busy enough for now. It even has Doom, Doom2, GTA2, and many other titles that surprised me. I love it!
