Outdoor camera works great but the wired doorbell does not come with all of the parts

Disappointed that the wired doorbell does not ring my existing chimes - didn't find that out until I purchased and installed it.

The bundle didn’t have any batteries with the cameras also didn’t have any mounts which made you order those items. Very misleading I’m at the point of sending everything back I would not buy another one from blink very misleading It’s nickel and dime you to death to get it working

I bought a blink system. 3 cameras, sync module, and battery extension pack. Everything worked ok for a little over a year. But then 2 of the cameras went offline and I was never able to get them back online. I worked with support but they eventually gave up and told me to return them to Amazon. But of course, after a year my return window was not open. So I am stuck with 1 out of 3 cameras working. I will look into other brands for my next purchase.Update:Even though I purchased a new package of Energizer AA ultimate lithium batteries, the issues I seemed to be having had to do with the fact that the batteries I had put in the cameras were dead. I put in new batteries (I checked them before I put them in) and at least for the moment I was able to get the cameras online. I will monitor and make sure there is nothing in the camera settings that is draining my batteries. With that mystery solved I am pleased with the camera system.

REVIEW IS FOR THE BLINK CAMERA (NOT DOORBELL)Loved these when i first got them but now that I canceled the annual premium it takes forever (if ever) to see what set the camera off. I just get a blue circle of death while I watch through my front window as people come up my driveway and walk down the path to my front door. I have new batteries in the camera and that didn't change anything. Very disappointing for the cost considering I have 6 of the outdoor cameras, one doorbell camera and 2 of the small inside cameras. I don't want to have to start from scratch with another brand and I can't afford to.The pic just shows the blue circle of death---the pic is from the app so I know what the camera is set to see.

I regret choosing Blink for my home security system.My biggest problem isn’t occasional missed motion. It is a repeated pattern: my Blink cameras routinely record me, my cats, vehicles, and other unimportant activity while completely missing people making deliveries directly in front of the cameras.The latest example was especially frustrating. I have both a Blink doorbell camera and a separate porch camera positioned to cover my front entrance. I had recently taken the time to reposition and adjust both cameras specifically to improve that coverage. A delivery driver arrived with groceries, walked to my door, stood there long enough to place the order on my doormat and take a delivery photo, remained while I opened the door and spoke with him, and then walked back to his vehicle.Neither camera recorded the actual delivery or our interaction.What did Blink record? The driver pulling away.Later, it recorded one of my cats walking around the porch. My cameras will record my cats 20+ times in a day and send notifications about them, despite Person Detection being enabled. They also reliably record me when I approach my own door. Yet deliveries are routinely missed.This is not an isolated incident. Missing deliveries has happened repeatedly.That makes the increasingly promoted “smart” and AI detection features difficult for me to take seriously. Identifying what is in recorded footage isn’t particularly useful when the system repeatedly fails to record the important event in the first place.I bought security cameras so that when something important happens at my front door, I have a record of it. Tonight I actually needed that record, had two cameras pointed at the area, and neither captured it.A security system that reliably documents cats but cannot reliably document an unfamiliar person standing at my front door defeats much of the reason I purchased it.I wish I had chosen a different security system.

I don’t have very much activity and I’m having to replace the batteries every 3 weeks. I use the recommended Energizer Lithium. Get ready to buy tons of lithium batteries!! The feed is really clear though. If you’re putting it in a place where you have to climb to change the batteries, I would not recommend this camera.

I purchased this camera in November 2025, as I was in the middle of trying to buy a house. The process took a little longer than expected to move and I didn’t end up moving until June 2026. The box was never opened until July/August when we installed it at our new home. It lasted about 1 1/2 months before it went offline, and I have not been able to get it to stay online since, even though I have replace with new Lithium batteries. The ad claims it has 2 year battery life. 🤣 very disappointed.
