I took a chance on this toy, but it ended up working pretty well. It's hard to see in the picture, but it works fairly well. It has enough pieces to build one of the more complex patterns or two of the smaller ones so that was a little hard with both my kids. My 6 year old could build independently but my 3 year old needed some help. It tells you to just mix together dish soap and water for it, which worked OK and was cheaper than a ton of bubble solution. You need too be able to submerge the shape completely, so you need a bucket or something like that so you won't have to make so much bubble mixture. We've used it a couple times and it seems like the pieces are holding up OK.

This was fun and entertaining for my 8 year old daughter, husband and I. Playing indoors I would recommend a plastic tablecloth or paper plates or something you can wipe/toss easily... because well bubbles when done are a bit of a soapy sticky mess that will require a few rounds of water to wash up.We used the bubble fluid from the giant bubbles kit also sold by the same company. It keep us busy for more than 40 mins which is pretty good considering it was the end of a long day. I'm certain it will get more usage this summer outside as well. Definitely worth the money and cool for even hubby and I.

I purchased this for Bubble Day for my 1st grade class. Several of my students found putting the shapes together was too diicult for them and gave up. However, those who stuck with it, greatly enjoyed putting together thr shapes and making their own bubble creations. The product was exactly as pictured but 8 and above would be a good age group for this activity.

Getting it ready was quick, easy and fun. These brought so much fun to my family and me. The variety of shapes we could create totally amazed us. Nothing better than seeing my kids learn through play!! Will definitely buy again, for my family and for birthday gifts for my kids friends.

My son is really enjoying this but finds it hard to do outside because of the wind. He is more successful getting the bubbles to stay without popping in the bathtub.

I thought this would be a fun activity for my niece and I to play with - it certainly looks cool in the pictures and videos. In practice, however, it isn't nearly as easy to create the bubble shapes as it would seem.The first problem with this product is that the frames you build don't like to stay together, especially after the first dip in the bubble solution. They tend to come apart as you're trying to build your bubble, which becomes frustrating.It would also be nice if more pieces were included. There are just enough straws and corner connectors to build one large frame and one small frame simultaneously (pentagonal frustrum and triangular pyramid for example). This makes it more of a solo activity rather than something you can do with friends.Lastly, dipping the pieces to create the bubbles is difficult unless you have a huge bucket of bubble solution. We didn't have enough dish soap to make that much bubble solution on hand, so we struggled to get a film on all of the sides before one of the previous ones would pop. If you plan on this being easy, then you need to devote an entire large bottle of dish soap to make enough bubble solution so you can dip the entire structure into it. You'll also need a large pail or bucket for this.Overall, we were able to create some of the bubble shapes, and had some fun, but these issues made it way less fun than it should have been. It was okay, but I doubt it will get much use in the future.

Loved using this with our 8 and 10 year old daughters! Our girls really enjoyed being able to make their own shapes and see the bubbles come to life after! It was easy to use and entertained them for quite some time. Would definitely recommend for others. I personally loved that it comes in a compact package so it doesn’t take up a lot of space and is easy to use!

It does not work at all. Waste of money
