Absolutely gorgeous lamp. I bought 2 of them for my bedside cabinets.hey are so elegant and very functional. OK - they are white and bright on the highest setting but just a sliding touch dims the light output. The arm does not move up and down, but you can adjust by bending the arm up down and from side to side. Good solid base.
