PILOTPen Disposable Fountain Pen - Black (Pack of 3)

Having grown tired of the average pen I ventured back to my youth where I attempted to become a fountain pen user. Sadly my patience wore thin with them and spent more time covered in ink than writing with it! This is why I was 'drawn' to these disposable pens. I've never been happier scribbling away. They have a comfortable girth and the weight is perfect. As a leftie I have found no issues either and this can usually add to the grief. Not here, the nib is smooth and never scratchy. I'm still on my first pen so cannot comment on how many words are stored in the cartridge but I can assure you I've used a few. Would recommend this to anyone who adores the art of handwriting but doesn't want to look like they've just been arrested!

I bought these as a 'backup' to use when the ink runs out in my normal fountain pen. I was surprised by how smooth they are to write with. Not at all as cheap a feel as I would have expected from a disposable fountain pen. Having read the packaging, the ink in these is washable, which I would think means there's at least a chance of saving that shirt it was till in the pocket of when it went in the wash! However, that ink will probably fade over time, so not suitable for legal documents etc.

These are lovely to write with, ink flow is very smooth and they have a nice feel in the hand. But not really suitable for anything that isn't disposable writing as with the black pens the ink turns a strange green colour after a month or two on paper. So journals or documents end up a pretty off-putting looking dark green. If it isn't an issue they are great otherwise.

Very good real ink pen writing from a budget pen. Pen feels good in the hand and writes just like a much more expensive fountain pen. If you needto write in proper black ink for a professional document etc and do not want to spend loads then try this. Not sure if the ink is permanent orerasable but certainly these are good value for money.

Easy to hold, glides over paper.

I love these pens and the nib on them is fantastic and would be great if you are just starting to write with a fountain pen. However they are really expensive and don’t last very long if you use them daily. I would love to see a refillable version.
