Ordered this amazing TV while it was on sale for less than $2000. If you know anything about big screen TVs, this is a steal. I saw this TV at CES this year and was convinced that I wanted one. It arrived on time and the delivery guys were super and very careful. They put it in the room of choice. Once this TV was installed, and yes you need 2 strong guys to move it, it is incredible! This TV replaced an 82" Samsung TV and its every bit as good picture quality. Getting all the setting configured took several hours of time but it is well worth the effort. The built in Google TV is great and has all the live TV and apps for other streaming items you will need. We have only had it a few days, but so far we are totally satisfied. It's big but it looks great and fits the room nicely.

Got this on the current $1999 sale. Have never owned a TCL before but took a chance. It actually arrived a week before Amazon showed it to. I didn’t want to mount this on the wall and the included feet were too wide for my TV stand so I purchased the 86” legs on Amazon with it. These mount to the same VESA holes that the wall mount would. Several picture adjustments need to be made like turning off the intelligent brightness settings. I also found the Sports picture setting to be the best for me. I haven’t tuned in the blur and judder settings yet but it’s close. The picture is amazing and even though it’s 98” I don’t think it is “too big” at all. Setup was simple and the built in Google TV has been smooth and has access to all apps that we use. No real opinion on sound as we immediately connected it to our Sony 7.1 receiver with an optical cable. We’ve only had it a week but would highly recommend based off of our first impression.

This 98” TCL Google TV is amazing. It’s in our primary bedroom. Paired with a Visio high end surround sound system connected via ARC-HDMI Cable provides a viewing experience that is as good as any movie theatre. Picture quality is incredibly large and bright and colourful sound is loud enough to warrant worrying about your neighbours late at night. It connected to AT&T fibre optic network with cable services provided by Direct TV Stream. They have 3 4K channels and I have upgraded Netflix and Amazon Prime Video to 4K as well. There is an app called Kodi that allows us to access a Western Digital 35 Tb NAS drive that contains years worth of personal video and photos and movies and music on the Television.

This is THE projector killer. Bright, large enough for a living room theater, easy to setup (with two).So, why not buy it? The newer, brighter and more colorful TCL Q65 is the same price. Buy it.Now, both say they are often returned. Why? Likely that the spouse said "No!"I can only guess because you will likely be unable to move it if you move.I installed over a window with Milestone Over-The-Whiteboard Mount.124 pounds seems dangerous just sitting on a table. TCL is the high-end brand of cheap Chinese TVs. Very good sound (even with large subwoofer) but I have a 7.4.6 audio setup. My only regret is that I don't have room for another one of these. And it's cheaper. Good for gaming, computer monitor, etc. Three times brighter than a projector... mine replaced a larger and far more expensive projector and screen. And yet, I bought another projector... for an outdoor golf simulator. You cannot hit golf balls into a TV. LOL

The TV was delivered 5 days late, and damaged (NSD delivery). The screen is cracked. The cracks are not actually visible until you plug the TV in and turn it on (pictures attached). We are returning it.

This tv has all the modern features you'd expect except for local dimming. I have always stuck to higher end Sony tvs but given the price I took a chance. It was a great decision. I don't have any issues with the ARC hdmi connection controlling my yamaha reciever and the picture is fantastic. I can't stress enough how good the picture is. The TV isn't an oled but it's 98 inches with crisp details and works great with my ps5. If you are looking at a TV this size don't pass this one up.

So my first tcl 98 inch was shattered when i opened and getting a replacement ordered took some persuading between amazon and tcl, eventually I got the return and replacement squared away. I awaited the arrival of the replacement... after six days of "it should be there tomorrow" with the 3rd party shipping company it finally arrived. I was skeptical when seeing the box that the tv was in good condition due to gashes and dents on the box, but to my surprise the tv was intact and after plugging it in I confirmed it was in working order!Shipping aside, it is a magnificent tv and I can't wait to get it fully set up and experience it.

The media could not be loaded. First off like to say thanks a million the Amazon crew for taking the time and patience to bring down stairs my tv. This tv is massive and heavy. We had to remove the small pallet to bring it down stairs. They even remove the box and took the materials back which is optional.Now back to the TV definitely a upgrade from my 65 samsung SUHD (7 years old) lol. The colors are vibrant giving the movies and games life like structure. I use my Amazon stick though. The sound is loud but I prefer my 5.1 surround system. Maybe if they didn't put the Woofer in the back be thinner haha. Overall happy with the size and quality of the picture. Hell ya I got at $1999 vs today $2999.
