I actually purchased this as an insulating blanket for a barrel smoker. It is a nice size for my smoker and takes the heat well. It does a good job of insulating the smoker.

Had a kitchen fire that was growing as a last resort I pulled this out. Turned the burner off and the fire was out within seconds. It says do not refuse but the rest of the glass works just fine. It is SUPER ITCHY after use so just keep that in mind. Good affordable fire resistant product.

These will be used for spark protection when doing weld repairs on trucks. Covering glass, painted surfaces, etc. They will do the job.

I got this blanket to put over my Traeger pellet smoker in cold weather. The blanket is made of heavy woven fiberglass with brass grommets. I used it the first time yesterday and in cold weather, it kept the smoker within the normal temperature swing for 6 hours. I'll really enjoy using it this winter. I was afraid I would have to put off smoking ribs this winter, but now I can enjoy the smoker year round.

I used this to shield my deck while I welded a metal railing around it. While it did prevent the deck from being burned, it also shed fiberglass like nothing I've ever seen. I've done a decent amount of fiberglass repair in my life & have never been as itchy as I was after picking up and moving this blanket around a few times. To make matters worse - I fold the blanket up after each use, but the act of folding and unfolding put a hole in the blanket at one of the fold points. I suppose that you can't complain too much at this price point, and if you were only going to use it once in a while, it would be fine; but if you plan on using and moving this blanket often, I would search for something else. Mine just went in the trash - plenty worse for wear - after just a few months of use.

Good quality seems better then the Princess auto ones that are the same price.

No sirve para lo que indica, que es resistir gotas de soldadura y proteger lo que cubre. Se quema y se deshilacha muy fácil. Muy frágil. No la recomiendo

Die Abmase sind wie angegeben einzelne fasern sind anbgegangen aber nur am Rand!Der Vorhand ist sehr stabil und beim Schweißen und schleifen kommt nichts durch den Vorhang!Gutes Teil für den Heimwerker!
