Finished 1/3 of the stories and except The blue umbrella (which is my all time favourite) and maybe Trishanku, all other stories are filled with pathos and have a sad ending. I am not saying they r not the greatest Indian stories but they r probably the greatest saddest Indian stories. The book could have done with a sprinkling of hopeful stories!!
