great for the price
I was looking for metal ones, but they were expensive. These are plastic, but a heavy duty plastic. They look like they should last for several years.

Great replacement cap if yours gets lost or stolen!
Very good hydrant cap. A whole lot cheaper than the other kind and works just as good. Tight fit and looks great. Highly recommend!

Stopped brass thieves stealing caps and passed annual fire standpipe testing
Great alternative if thieves keep stealing the brass ones. I was worried the city wouldn’t pass our buildings annual fire system test and standpipe tests, but these replacements were not a problem and can be wrenched on just like a brass cap.
