Since I’m getting older and seeing a lot of cellulite, i decided to purchase this. It has variably adjustable speed and vibrates very fast. After the first use, my muscles were sore so I would say that it works and they are was hot. Just be aware that it is corded but the cord is very long.Update: my husband has been having some sore muscle issues for a few years. I'm particular, he had bicep tendonitis with server soreness and weakness from his forearm into his bicep. He also has damage in his hands from a motorcycle accident. He tried using this massager to help with deep tissue repair, and it seems to be helping. The high speed vibrators and heat get deep into the tissue and immediately you can feel the fibers breaking up. It's a bit itchy in the beginning but then immediately afterwards, the soreness is gone. I think this is an undiscovered gem that can really help with muscle repair. The machine seems to be of good quality. It's become a very useful home health appliance!

I bought it more for use after working out and it is very helpful for massaging tight and sore muscles. Love the fact that it comes with 6 washable pads and that the strength of massage is easily adjustable.
