I have 2 chiweenie escape artists. They were able to get themselves out of every other harness I tried. I have been using these harnesses for over a year now. Neither of my boys has escaped and the harness has held up well to aggressive pulling. They are well made and sturdy. The fit is good except for the fact that my chunkier boy is just a bit snug in the small but the next size up would be too large. These are easy to put on. My boys slip their heads in the front and then I buckle them in. Highly recommend for any escape artists.

Great harness for my houdini of dog! Have bought many rabbitgoo harnesses before and won't buy a different one. Has very decent padding on it so it rub the dogs raw while wearing it. All the harnesses I've bought from this company have been very durable and fit like they should. I only wish there wasn't so much extra strap hanging once it's been fit properly. It doesn't really help with dogs that pull but it does evenly distribute how the pressure from pulling affects the dog so that they don't choke themselves.

***Update after using for 2 months. I used this harness every day for 2 walks a day (very reasonable for the average dog owner). I bought this because it was advertised as "escape proof" and as I wrote in my initial review, the strap and ring placement made for easy handling. However, on our walk this weekend, one of the chest strap rings broke, allowing the strap to pull through the triangle on the chest--and allowing my dog to back out of the harness. I contacted the company and was offered a 30% refund because they don't warranty the product beyond 30 days. I will certainly accept the 30% refund, but I absolutely won't be using it to order another of the same harness. I can't use a harness that won't last more than 2 months and if they can't stand behind their product for longer than that, I'll have to try a different company. It's really unfortunate, as the fit and style of this harness as well as the placement of the back ring worked really well for my dog. I loved using it with him, but I can't risk another ring failure allowing him to escape. That's why I purchased a harness advertised to be "escape proof."***I have a houdini pittie mix that has escaped every harness we have ever tried. Some rubbed his armpits raw, others couldn't accommodate his big pittie chest girth comfortably. We have tried front rings, side rings, back rings, collars, the whole 9 yards. This vest fits him snuggly without being too tight. The chest strap sits far enough back that his armpits are safe, the belly strap provides extra escape-proofing, and the t-strap up front seems to be comfortable for him. The construction appears to be sturdy so far, and the ring placement seems to be exactly right for providing good control and guidance while we walk. To be honest, no harness is going to turn a determined puller into a docile show dog. But this harness makes my hell-bent squirrel chaser easier to work with, and I have confidence that he can't weasel out or tear through the stitching. After 5 years of work, that's as close to a miracle as I'm going to get and that means I love this harness.

I like the red part of the harness, the "body" if you will because it seems sturdy with the stitching and well made, but the straps are super lightweight and the buckles seem like they could be sturdier. My dog has stopped trying to escape lately so I haven't tested that aspect of it.

I bought two harnesses like this trying to figure out what would work for carrying my 30 lb dog up and down the stairs. This one was a lot lighter and easier to carry correctly. It's soft and minimal enough that I would feel comfortable leaving it on him for a while if I could use it. Unfortunately, he's just built so differently from the dog in the picture that the bottom strap actually lands right in the middle of his peeper. I didn't figure that out until I picked him up one time and he was doing these insane gyrations that made it look like he was definitely uncomfortable. It does seem to work if I take the pad on the strap and push it all the way over to one side, But I don't really want to chance it all the time, especially given the potential for a PP accident if I don't have it set up just right. The straps around the bottom look kind of narrow, but they're fine. I was afraid it would be too uncomfortable for him to be lifted that way compared to the other harness I have that has a larger vest shape underneath, but he seems comfortable enough. The only drawback for me is that I'm really clumsy and with only one clip on each strap, I have to get him to step through one side to put it on. That can be a lot harder than it sounds. (His other one has a buckle on each side, which makes it easier to put on, but ends up looking like a bulletproof vest.) Highly recommended if it fits.

Got this for my anxious dog who tries to run in stressful situations. So far it’s working great. The belly strap can be tighter since it’s not around the rib cage, so it seems she won’t be able to pull out of it if she tries. I measured her and used the guide to pick the size and it fits well.

My dog would back out of the other harness we have tried (three in all). this one she can't. I also like the lift handle for it helps getting her in the car. Worth the buy.

dude this harness is insane. i have a 100lb puppy who escaped from EVERYTHING but this. he’s ran full force off his tether and broken harnesses but this one is fr so durable and makes it so easy to pull him out/off of things. 10/10 recommend

Mi sto trovando molto bene con queste pettorine .Sono fascianti e comode per i miei 2 cani di taglia medio/grande .La maniglia è utile per tenerlo vicino se c’è troppa gente o situazioni particolari , comoda anche per andare dal veterinario per tenerlo vicino a sé con un ottima presa .È resistente e quando la lavi si sciupa velocemente . What can I say about this harness? It’s perfect!! The three point escape proof design is really robust. Measured my large shepherd dog and it fitted him perfectly. He’s a strong boy who can be reactive to men in hats (he’s a rescue) and this harness gives me peace of mind that I can really get a good grip on him with the handle should I need to. It’s also go fabric under the clips so I don’t catch his long fur in them when putting it on. I’ve tried various harnesses and this one absolutely is the best one I’ve had. He is really comfortable in it too. The reflective strips are really bright so at night my torch illuminates him well. Highly recommend but do follow the measuring guide to get the right snug fit.
