If you leave them plugged in they go off when the lights come on and turn on when it's dark. Just enough light so that at night when I'm groggy I'm able to aim for "the bowl" rather than the clothes hamper.They are a bit cheaply made but still a good value for the money.

Very surprised at how cute these are. Perfect amount of light. I don’t have to leave any lights on at night anymore. I can walk through house at night without turning any lights on , and still see. Great they go on and off automatically.Had no idea they changed colors. Get them!!

When it first came out of the package I was disappointed because it was scrunched up and looked cheap. But when I arranged the blooms it was fine. Then when it was plugged in and the lights were turned off it was beautiful. With the colors changing all night. I like it so much I ordered a bunch more. Unfortunately one piece turned out defective. But the rest are beautiful. I placed one in every bedroom and bathroom and in the hallways too.

My wife wanted a prettier night light and found these. They are brighter than the standard night light with one bulb, plus this is much nicer looking. And although it's brighter it's a soft light so it isn't too jarring. I'm surprised I like these as much as I do and I'm glad my wife want new night lights!

Didn’t realize base was plastic. Thought it was vase material. It has no on & off switch,Do love the changing colors .
