Got 3 of them, can be installed not only on handlebars but also on sisibar, frame,....wish they would add a strip of rubber for smaller diameters.

The quality is eh at best. I thought I could install it on my frame bars (ktm 690 enduro) but it wont fit across the them. As I hate crowding up my handle bars. I think theres better ways to go about having a helmet lock.

Unlike what this helmet lock is marketed for (motorcycles and scooters), I got this because I wanted something to lock my mountain biking helmet to my bicycle so I didn't have to carry my helmet around after a ride or try to lock it up in the bike lock around the muddy tires/frame. I simply cut a small strip of rubber and put it between the lock and the handlebar before screwing the lock around it so it wouldn't shift during riding or scrape up the paint. It works perfectly. The lock action is good and opens/closes smoothly and it comes with 2 keys (which I appreciate, since I always tend to lose one at some point). While this isn't the most secure solution ever (someone with the right sized allen wrench would be able to completely remove this lock from whatever it is attached to within seconds), lets face it: like most anti-theft devices, they are really meant to be a theft deterrent from theft by convenience. In that regard, it does the job and does it well. I'm perfectly happy with this lock.

This helmet lock is a great way to protect your helmet from theft. It keeps the helmet attached to your bike while you are away. It is easy to use and affordable, and now I'm wondering why motorcycles don't come with a device like this in the first place.

Works great for a bike helmet. Not sure if all motorcycle helmets have straps, but the lock closes enough to prevent unbuckling the strap clips and pulling through. I don't think this will stop people from stealing helmets (not sure that's a thing) but it is piece of mind to be able to just leave my helmet on my bike and not have to carry it around, without the worry of my helmet going missing.
