I bought this because I had another Peugeot pepper mill for several years. It eventually began jamming up every time I used it.So, I bought this one.For the first year, it was fine, though I noticed the lacquer chipped easily. But since then, it has got worse and worse. The adjustment for the coarseness of the grind has become looser until it is nearly falling off. The grinding is inconsistent and jams up easily. The lacquer has chipped away more around the bottom.Generally, it has proved to be the most terribly constructed item. I have bought a cheapo one from our local supermarket, and it is far superior.Very disappointed.

Don't bother with other pepper grinders. I have owned many and they have all been rubbish, either jamming up or taking forever to output a reasonable amount of pepper. I can definitely say peugeot make one the best grinders if not the best.

Nice product and good addition to the kitchen. I had purchased three of it for different pepper types/colors. The 6 selection points feature is amazing for different grinding size which I found it very handy. I totally recommend it.
