Great little humidifier for storing and incubating my hatching eggs!
I love these! They are a great size, and so versatile, and easy to use. They were easy to assemble, and set up for my purposes only took about a half hour to figure out. I set them up yesterday, and so far, they are working great. I used one in my table top chicken egg incubator to keep the humidity where I want it. Most of them do not have humidity control, only monitoring. They use water storage of different size surface areas in the bottom of the incubator and rely on evaporation and surface area of the water to keep the humidity in the right range. But this can be difficult sometimes with people living in different climates. I am keeping the smallest water section full and stuck the wick down through the grid on the bottom into the water. I have this connected to a humidity controller and it's working great! I used another one in my little wine refrigerator where I store hatching eggs until they are ready to start incubating. It's good to keep them at 75% humidity. I don't have a controller for that one yet, so I am periodically turning it on for a minute. I have a humidity monitor with a probe that goes inside so I know what the humidity level is. I have a couple of Swedish cloths/sponges laying flat on the bottom and saturated them with water. The wick is sitting on top of one of those. That is working well so far too!

Quality Parts, Good Design, and excellent wicking setup
I'm using this to atomize neurotoxin for a Portal/GLaDOS themed project. Some things I really like about it: * The piezoelectric disc wires connect to the circuit board via a very reliable IDC connector. On other brands I've purchased, the wires are soldered directly to the PCB and break off easily. * The wick is VERY effective at providing the disc just the right about of liquid. * The PCB has through-hole pads on it for connecting your own power, and SMT pads to solder-jumper the switch to be permanently on. This makes it easy to control from a microcontroller. * The PCB has mounting holes to easily attach it to a project. Really the only downside I've encountered so far is that the LED is blue and very bright. I wish it could be easily disabled. Power usage at full steam is 250mA @ 5V. For others who might get it: When assembling this, the white ceramic ring side of the disc goes up (opposite the tube assembly). Also, before clipping the two halves together, make sure the wires are going through the correct side. Only one side has a gap for them.

Replacement wicks?
Anyone know where to get replacement wicks for these? Otherwise, they work perfectly.

Works great and is a decent price

Didn't work for me.
Bought these for a 3D printed model. Not sure exactly how to get this to steam. I wet the stick, put a cup of water underneath with the stick in it, then plugged it in. It started steaming for about 30 seconds then wouldn't do anything more. I tried another unit and, same thing. It should come with better directions and/or function like it's supposed to.

Just the part that was needed
These were the exact parts my daughter needed to complete her engineering project as school.

Works great.
All 3 work great. I plan on using these on G scale model trains engines. I used them with a 5 volt portable battery. Just a heads up - The vibrating wafer has 2 similar sides The side with the slightly depressed center goes up. The side with the slightly raised center goes towards the wick.

Better than expected
They work surprisingly well for quite a long time. After a few months of near constant use, they still work (though you might have to fiddle with them now to get a good stream of mist). I just wish they didn’t have the arbitrary timer shutoff.
